Apex Legends - The Wingman is Still OP! - Gameplay and Thoughts on the Update!

I have tested the Wingman in #ApexLegends after the nerf. It’s safe to say it’s still OP and it’s pretty easy to find. Up next, it’s time to test the Peacekeeper.

In this video, I showcase the highlights of one of my games after the Wingman nerf patch that hit servers recently. I wanted to know whether the meta will change because of it. I found that the weapon still has accuracy if you fire it just slightly slower than before. And, well, with the slightly slower fire rate, you’re kind of forced to anyway.

What are your thoughts on the changes? Did you notice any differences? And, do you like this style of content? Let me know your thoughts! Basically, whilst the #ApexLegends Wingman nerf is noticeable, it doesn’t really make much of an impact on the current playstyle most people use with the Wingman.

Up to 20 meters it’s still accurate in hip fire and it can be accurate even further if you pace your shots. And, if you aim down sights, you still get good movement speed and it’s just as accurate as before. The base damage hasn’t been changed. The Skullpierecer damage has changed but it’s small. Instead of getting 2.5x bonus headshot damage, you get 2.25x. With a helmet, the difference here is so, so small. Ultimately, the Wingman is still the top gun, and the recent balance update did little to actually change the game.
