Blizzard gives each class a revival

Reviving in battle is often useful in World of Warcraft. Especially when raiding or in dungeons, players often fall down because they were inattentive for a moment. But there it is particularly annoying if there is no “Battle-Rezz” in the whole group. Blizzard has now apparently realized this and is giving every class the option to revive allies.

What was discovered? As the colleagues from “buffed” have discovered, engineers in Dragonflight can once again create jumper cables to revive other players in battle (or outside of it).

However, the special feature this time is that there is also the “Deceptively Real Jumper Cable”, which does not require an Engineer skill. So you can also get this combat revive with any other profession.

So effectively all classes and specializations have access to combat resurrection, which Mythic+ in particular can definitely carry weight.

Are there any disadvantages? Yes, there are. Unlike other combat revives or the improved version of the jumper cable, the cable accessible to all can only revive with 35% life and 10% mana. By comparison, the improved version (which only engineers can use) can restore a whopping 60% life and 20% mana.

Why does Blizzard do this? While Blizzard always tries not to dilute the benefits of individual classes, some mechanics just prove too strong not to have at all. Especially in “Mythic+” groups, a resurrection in combat can be the difference between a run that is “loose on time” and a failure by several excessive minutes.

However, since few classes have a Battle-Rezz, the group may have to go without one. However, the Battle-Rezz is considered a resource in the dungeons (they are even limited, after all) and therefore especially important.

Allowing all classes to have a weaker Battle Rezz by means of new items provides more equality and greater diversity in class selection.

Previously, Blizzard had also enabled things like time bending and battle rage through drumming for all, and mass stealth from the rogue can also be simulated through invisibility potions.

Please keep in mind that this is information from the alpha so far. Of course, this could change by the time Dragonflight is released.
