Moodboarding, inspiration, composition sketches, and a whole lot more. It’s all part of the design process for two Rioters, Senior Principal Illustrator Su Ke and Principal Visual Designer Brandon Meier. They’re the designer duo behind some of the most iconic key art and visual imagery that VALORANT has to offer.
In the spirit of Halloween, we brewed up an especially scary design challenge. So dive in as they share their entire process and approach from start to finish, as well as advice for aspiring designers.

#Valorant Agent 18: Skills, Role and Release Date.
There are currently 16 agents in #Valorant, but that number will increase to 18 by the end of Episode 3. Unless Riot decides to leave out the agent in one of the upcoming acts, as they did in Episode 2 Act 3. Now you might be wondering – why are we discussing Agent 18 when Agent 17 hasn’t appeared yet?
#Valorant Player of the Month, July 2021: ShahZaM.
Shahzeb “ShahZaM” Khan is a well-known #Valorant pro from North America. Similar to many other #Valorant pros, ShahZam has previously played ##CSGO. His competitive experience has taken him through some of the biggest events and organizations the region has had to offer.
Can you give away skins in #Valorant?.
Last month Riot treated us to Zedd skins, the Recon bundle, and up to three skin lines from the new Act. All of these weapon skins are beautiful. So beautiful, in fact, that we don’t even want to play with the old familiar weapons anymore.
#Valorant Origin #Skins leaked.
The #Valorant Origin Skin Bundle has been leaked! #Valorant players can look forward to the upcoming patch 2.11, because patch 2.10 was skipped by #RiotGames for unknown reasons. Now a new skin bundle called Origin has been revealed.
Patch Notes – #Valorant Patch 4.11 at a glance: Agent bug fixes, Clutch Mute & more.
And so ends Episode 4. Was it a revolutionary episode? No, not necessarily. But even if there was no revolution, we could definitely see an evolution of the game, especially when it comes to quality of life changes. And here we have another patch full of nice improvements that may not be too fancy,

#Valorant.
#Valorant is a free-to-play multiplayer first-person shooter developed by #RiotGames. It is the first game developed by #RiotGames in this genre. The game was first announced in October 2019 with the code-name Project A. It was released for Windows on June 2, 2020. It was originally scheduled for release in the summer of 2020. A closed beta launched back on April 7, 2020, and participation for the closed beta was done by sending game-keys for watching live streams of the game on the video platform Twitch (so-called “Twitch Drops”). The Twitch account had to be connected to the #RiotGames account for this. #Valorant left the beta phase on June 2, 2020.
