What is FIFA Ultimate Team?
FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT) is a game mode that has been around in FIFA for over a decade. In order to be able to gamble with the best players, the mode entices gamers to spend in-game currency. Ideally, from the point of view of EA, these are FIFA points. Because you don’t earn enough coins per game played to build a clever team – the players are contained in packs. The insider has shared internal documents with CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation), revealing EA’s approach to the popular video game.
The document, which looks like a presentation, confirms what we already suspected and know: FIFA is designed to have you play FUT and, if possible, pay money for FIFA packs.

We were already aware that EA wanted to make as much money as possible, but the leak has now impressively proven this assumption. However, we don’t expect this development to change anything in the game. Career mode won’t suddenly come into focus as it’s still meant to act as a bridge to Ultimate Team at the end of the day.
This story makes one thing clear to us users: the FIFA developers know exactly what they are doing. If anything seems out of place, it is by design.
