The French league is in top form this – Season . Let our talent scout Ryan Pessoa show you “The Road to Messi, Neymar and Mbappé”.
Now it gets interesting: Of course, every FIFA player will try to copy Paris Saint-Germain’s starting eleven for their own Ligue 1 team. Neymar, Kylian Mbappé and Lionel Messi will make every attacking enthusiast spend their hard earned coins with both hands. The list doesn’t stop there though, Gini Wijnaldum, Sergio Ramos, Ashraf Hakimi and many more superstars are waiting for your Ligue 1 contract. Luckily, there are many more solid options for your FUT Starter Team that are far more affordable.
” It pays to hire PSG’s Gianluigi Donnarumma…. “

“If you can afford him, it pays to sign PSG’s new keeper Gianluigi Donnarumma. At 22 years old, the Euro 2020 winner is a great all-rounder in goal,” Ryan Pessoa tells us.
For starters, you have to look past PSG and go for old names and young imports. In the end, however, there’s no way around PSG’s squad. But until the ruble rolls, you need Ligue 1’s value-for-money winners.
Andy Delort (81, ST) – Nice, Algeria
Attacking options aside from the aforementioned trio are sparse in Ligue 1, but Delort will do a good job in your team. His finishing prowess means he’s very likely to put your created chances in the net, even if he doesn’t have the speed of Mbappé to get a run on a pass. Physical strength also makes him suitable for “clearing away” some defenders to pave the way for his colleagues.
Burak Yılmaz (81, ST) – Lille, Turkey.
The selection of Turkish players in Ligue 1 is growing. If you can get your hands on Yılmaz in the early days, you should definitely sign him. Like Delort, he will do his job alongside a speedy attacking colleague to your satisfaction. Plus, he’s pretty strong in the air.
Gelson Martins (78, RM) – Monaco, Portugal
Martins will be one of the more expensive sub-80 cards in the early going, in our opinion, based on his Portuguese links. However, if you do get him, he’ll provide solid coverage on the right flank, beyond the weekend leagues. Moreover, you would by no means need to jettison him later on, as he’s an always great second-half substitute.
Houssem Aouar (81, ZM) – Lyon, France.
His special cards are always better from the general stats than his base card, which seems a bit weak for a central midfielder. Nonetheless, Aouar is a class player and we’d be happy to see him drop from the starting packs to our midfield.
Jason Denayer (80, IV) – Lyon, Belgium

Denayer will be cheap compared to PSG players, but he will still eat up some coin. However, until you can acquire the world-class defense, he will reliably keep the penalty area clean. Put Diallo alongside him and you should have no problems in the back of the field in the first few weeks.
Julian Draxler (80, ZOM) – PSG, Germany
We had almost forgotten about Draxler playing for PSG, especially with a certain Argentine moving to PSG this summer. However, if you need an attacking midfielder in the early FUT stages who also brings valuable Bundesliga hybrid options, then you’d be well served by Draxler.
Renato Sanches (80, ZM) – Lille, Portugal
Sanches has long been the subject of speculation as to whether he will switch leagues. From a FIFA perspective, his staying in France is definitely welcome as he brings the valuable league link. His price is more in the premium range, but it pays off. If he is graced with numerous cards like last year, you can hold on to him until FIFA 23.
Matteo Guendouzi (77, ZDM) – Marseille, France
If Renato Sanches is too expensive for you, you have a cheap alternative in Guendouzi. Just make sure you level him up as fast as possible – keyword Squad Battles.
Pau Lopez (80, TH) – Marseille, Spain
Any aged goalkeeper will do for starters, but Lopez brings the valuable Spanish link. He’s also quicker than many other keepers in the league and also big enough to clear crosses.
Wissam Ben Yedder (84, ST) – Monaco, France.
Ben Yedder is typically one of the more expensive cards at the beginning of a FIFA cycle. Due to the current diminishment of his speed, many might steer clear of him. Your chance to grab a 5-star weak foot with traditionally many in-forms.
