FIFA 22: That’s why there will be no TOTW 37

Our wonderful Team of the Week Prediction series comes to a sudden end. And this is not because we don’t like the Predictions anymore, on the contrary. EA will not release a Team of the Week for FIFA 22 anymore. So the TOTW 37 will never be released. The next Team of the Week will be released in September or October after the release of FIFA 23. The reason for this is that all top leagues go into the well deserved summer break. The players who would get an in-form then, no one would play. That’s why EA saves the work and just doesn’t release TOTW anymore. As easy as that. You can find the matching tweet from EA with the official confirmation here:

The 36th Team of the Week will be released soon! We already dare to make a prediction for the next TOTW. Also watch out for Featured TOTW players. They can become even stronger if they perform well.

When will the Team of the Week be released in FIFA 22?

The TOTW appears weekly in FIFA. Every Wednesday at 19:00 it is clear who made it into the Team of the Week. Just keep your eyes open in the game, as soon as they are available you can pull them from packs.

The best players of the past – Season are included in the Team of the – Season . A TOTS consists of 15 players. The stars who were especially good for their clubs in real life can be found in the TOTS of their respective league.

FIFA 23 WILL BE THE LAST PART OF THE GAME SERIES UNDER THIS NAME

FIFA 23 will be the last part of the game series to be released under the name of the world governing body and in collaboration with EA. For months the rumor mill was bubbling, now all this has been confirmed by the game makers EA in May 2022. The fact is that after almost 30 years of partnership between EA Sports and FIFA, the license agreement between the two parties will expire with the game FIFA 23.

Already with the launch of FIFA 22, Electronic Arts revealed the following in a blog post: There exists “the idea to rename our global EA Sports soccer games.” According to speculation, the world governing body FIFA has demanded double the amount for a continuation of the cooperation in new contract negotiations with EA.
