FIFA 22 Ultimate Team: These 7 players are OP!

We present you seven cards in FIFA 22 UItimate Team, which play extremely well despite low prices. Included: Two stars of RB Leipzig and an ex-performer of the Red Bulls.

The FIFA 22 – Season has been running for a few weeks now. In Ultimate Team, the main thing at the start of the – Season is to build a competitive team. To help you with that, we have taken a look at the available player material and have already built a strong starter team for you. Here we present seven players who are cheap but play extremely well.

Emiliano Martinez – Aston Villa

The keeper of the Premier League club is an absolutely strong back. Almost all ratings are over 80 and he is also 1.95 meters tall. Height is very important for goalkeepers in FIFA 22. So you should definitely play a goalkeeper who is taller than 1.90 meters. You definitely can’t go wrong with Martinez. I played him myself for a few weeks and I can say that he didn’t disappoint me in any of the games.

Lukas Klostermann (Rulebreaker) – RB Leipzig

Lukas Klostermann is a machine. Even the RB Leipzig defender’s normal Gold card with 85 Pace, 82 Defense and 77 Physique plays extremely well – and it costs less than 1,000 coins! However, I recommend the Rulebreakers card. Here you have a slightly lower pace (82), but monster values in defense (87) and physique (87). You should invest the 124,000 coins if you are looking for a top central defender from the Bundesliga.

Franck Yannick Kessié (Rulebreaker) – AC Milan

For the same price as for Klostermann, you can also get Franck Yannick Kessié as a rulebreaker in the team. I am not exaggerating when I say that the defensive midfielder is one of the best players in the game in his position. I’ve had Kessié’s standard card in the team for several weeks myself (cost: 3,900 coins) and was always more than satisfied. So if you can’t afford the 124,000 coins yet, play the standard version first and then upgrade to the rulebreaker card later. The values are simply bombastic!

Christopher Nkunku (First InForm) – RB Leipzig

Price (PS4): 29,000 coins

After Klostermann, the second RB Leipzig player to strengthen your Ultimate Team is Christopher Nkunku in his first InForm version. With 88 dribbling, 85 passing and 82 speed, Nkunku leaves many opponents standing. For less than 30,000 coins, you get a player who can make a difference. Just like he is currently doing on the real soccer field for the Red Bulls. The second InForm version of Nkunku is also an option: with this card, however, you don’t get a ZOM, but a striker (ST). 90 dribbling, 87 passing and 84 speed are just a few top values that make the card a real weapon in attack with an overall rating of 86. Current price: 88,000 coins.

Donyell Malen (Ones to Watch) – Borussia Dortmund

Another player from the Bundesliga: Donyell Malen, newcomer at Borussia Dortmund. I use his Ones to Watch card in my team as a supersub. In the final minutes of the game, Malen is able to set new accents with his speed (90) and strong dribbling (83). I definitely recommend you to get the Ones to Watch version. That way, you have a chance to see the card improve over the course of the FIFA – Season as Malen performs at the top of his game in real-world soccer.

Timo Werner – Chelsea FC

Back to the Premier League: The ex-Leipzig player Timo Werner is also one of the OP players in FIFA 22. 91 pace, 82 dribbling and 81 shooting are values you will enjoy. The standard map is already enough to drive your opponents to despair. If you ever have a lot of coins to spare, I recommend checking out the Champions League version of Werner. The card is really incredible (94 pace, 86 dribbling, 85 shooting), but it costs accordingly. Currently, you have to shell out more than 900,000 coins for Werner’s CL card.

Romelu Lukaku – FC Chelsea

You don’t have to think too much about the striker position next to Werner: it’s best to play with his teammate at the Blues! Romelu Lukaku is the epitome of a machine! I myself bought him for less than 20,000 coins, meanwhile he costs more than 25,000 coins again. But even 25,000 coins is still a ridiculously low price for what you get with Lukaku: a full-blooded striker who can do it all! The Belgian international is fast (84 pace) and has very strong stats in shooting (87) and physicality (83). Due to his bulky stature and his height of 1.91 meters, he is also insanely strong on headers. In FIFA 22, where corners and crosses have become more effective again, this is a very important quality. With Lukaku, there’s only one thing you can do: strike on the transfer market!
