In FIFA 22 we got again new SBCs for Ultimate Team: Multiple Leagues Premium Upgrade SBCs can be completed. But which challenges are worthwhile? And how many coins do you have to spend? We tell you.

The TOTY hypetrain in FIFA 22 is rolling – currently the midfielders are in the packs, soon defenders & goalkeeper and in a few days then the whole team including the 12th man. For many of us Ultimate Team fans this means: Save packs!

Whether it’s through Weekend League, Division Rivals, FUT Draft or SBCs… saving the sets until Team of the Year is worth it. Now EA has brought out new challenges – namely the Leagues Premium Upgrade SBCs. Is it worth it and if so, which league? Let’s take a look!

Premium Leagues Upgrade SBCs Overview
Let’s be real, why is EA releasing the SBCs now and how should the average FIFA player complete them? Well, like pretty much everything currently, the challenges revolve around Team of the Year. Saving up a few tasty packs to then possibly pull a TOTY? Tastes good!

Serie A and LaLiga are already out of the running – not a single player has made it into the eleven (as of now; Benzema as the 12th man?). The Bundesliga at least has Lewandowski…. but the chance to draw him in the pack is probably lower than to meet him in real life. So that leaves Premier League and Ligue 1 (Paris Saint-Germain) – it’s worth it!

What are these ominous Premium Players Packs, you ask? They contain a total of 12 players (3 rares) from the respective league. For the price, it’s a pretty good deal considering that the Premium Gold Pack normally costs 7.5K already. Of course, you’ll still need a hell of a lot of luck to draw Messi, Mbappé & Co.

Are the Premium Upgrade SBCs in FIFA 22 worth it?
In parts definitely! However, if you look at the selected Team of the Year and then complete the SBCs to Bundesliga, LaLiga and Serie A, you can’t be helped. Definitely spend your coins and your players ONLY on Ligue 1 and Premier League. Good luck with the packs already!

What is the cheapest way to complete the Premium Upgrade SBCs? When we show you the cheapest solution, it means that these challenges are tough! FIFA Squad Building Challenges (short SBC)

The FIFA Squad Building Challenges (SBC for short) are about putting together a team according to certain specifications. They are an important part of FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT) and bring coins, valuable packs or special cards when fulfilled.

For the most part, you’ll have to line up eleven players that you have in your club and then send this squad off. These players will then disappear from your club. In return, you’ll receive a reward, such as a pack or a special card. As with FIFA 19, FIFA 20 and FIFA 21 we will report about the latest SBCs for FIFA 22 here and help you to judge if it is worth to complete a challenge.

START WITH THE SQUAD BUILDING CHALLENGES

In Squad Building Challenges (SBCs), you can use your player items to build unique teams based on various challenge conditions. You can then submit these to receive bonuses.

Here’s how:

• From the FIFA 22 main menu, select the FIFA Ultimate Team section.
• In the home page section, select Squad Building Challenges and call them up.
• Select the challenge you want to complete. They are grouped by category.

Create a team.

• Using items from your club or from the transfer market, build a team that meets the challenge conditions. Usually this is a mix of player quality, team chemistry, team value, nationalities, leagues and clubs.

Master the Challenge to submit your team and receive bonuses.

• All SBC submissions cannot be undone. Once you complete an SBC, the submitted items will be permanently removed from your club in exchange for bonuses. Our consultants cannot restore submitted items.
• For some SBCs, you will only have a limited amount of time to complete them. Once a challenge has expired, you will no longer be able to submit a team.

1. Some SBCs consist of multiple challenges with individual bonuses and a larger overall completion bonus. Other challenges are single challenges.
2. Some SBCs are repeatable. You have a chance to get different bonuses for each team submission, but you might also get the same bonus.
3. SBCs are available in all FIFA 22 versions, but they can vary depending on the platform. Bonuses can also vary from platform to platform.
