Shiloh is a temperate rim planet that was initially ignored by the settlers due to its low metal supplies. They instead focused on planets that enabled industry and space trade. It was only after the richer, central worlds were mapped, settled, and established that Shiloh caught the interest of the colonists.

The reunion of the Aiur protoss and the dark templar was a difficult time for both sides. The Stargate is a unit producing structure for the #Protoss, responsible for producing most of the #Protoss air units. It requires a Cybernetics Core before it can be warped in. The Stargate produces the Phoenix, Oracle and the Void Ray, and after the Fleet Beacon is completed, the Stargate can also warp in the Carrier and the Tempest.
