Esports is an inherently young community. Across all games, playerbases at the top are consistently younger than traditional sports. While some of that has to do with it being a significantly younger audience, there are pitfalls in the way we conduct the sporting that influences players from retiring at younger ages. How can we avoid these? and How old is too old for #Valorant?

Patch 2.08 for #Valorant left players empty-handed, as it did not add a new agent – something that has never happened before. Before that, Riot also added a new agent with each new act. Now we’re not so sure that will be the case anymore.

The Night Market is a monthly, limited-time pop-up store that offers players discounts on 6 past skins that are available in #Valorant. Like many other things, this is a concept we’ve seen before in #LeagueofLegends. There, players have access to a customized store called “Your Shop” that offers discounts on skins for some of their most played champions.

Patch Notes – Riot nerfs Run & Gun in #Valorant Episode 3.

If you’ve played #Valorant lately, you’ve probably noticed that Run and Gun is still a thing. Riot already made some changes earlier this year, and #Valorant Episode 3 will finally bury the issue. Hopefully.

#Valorant.

#Valorant is a free-to-play multiplayer first-person shooter developed by #RiotGames. It is the first game developed by #RiotGames in this genre. The game was first announced in October 2019 with the code-name Project A. It was released for Windows on June 2, 2020. It was originally scheduled for release in the summer of 2020. A closed beta launched back on April 7, 2020, and participation for the closed beta was done by sending game-keys for watching live streams of the game on the video platform Twitch (so-called “Twitch Drops”). The Twitch account had to be connected to the #RiotGames account for this. #Valorant left the beta phase on June 2, 2020.
