On the battlefield, Lúcio fires projectiles at his opponents with his sonic booster and sweeps them away with a sonic pulse. His songs can heal his teammates or increase their movement speed, depending on what he’s putting on.

Lúcio is an internationally known DJ whose goal is to bring about social change through his music and actions.
Lúcio Correia dos Santos grew up in Rio de Janeiro – in a crowded favela that was hit particularly hard by the turmoil in the financial markets following the Omnic crisis. As Brazil began the long process of economic reconstruction, he looked for a way to restore hope to those around him. He discovered music for himself and its power to bring people together and make them forget their worries and hardships for a short time. He first started out as a street musician, playing at street festivals before gaining notoriety through a series of legendary underground shows.
But the neighborhood to which Lúcio felt so attached fell on hard times when the multinational Vishkar Corporation was awarded the contract for a large-scale reurbanization program. Lúcio and his neighbors were assured that this would improve their lives. But that promise was not to be fulfilled. Instead, Vishkar began imposing severe restrictions on the neighborhood’s residents under the pretext of establishing peace and order: a curfew was imposed and behavior that the corporation deemed unlawful was brutally punished. At the same time, the residents were exploited as cheap labor.
Lúcio could not stand idly by. He stole the acoustic technology that Vishkar was using to oppress the people and used it to call for resistance. A popular uprising ensued and together the residents succeeded in driving Vishkar out of their neighborhood. As the leader of the uprising, Lúcio became a popular hero overnight and a symbol of positive social change. His music achieved immense popularity and instead of small local gigs, he was soon giving concerts all over the world in front of thousands of fans.
Now, at the peak of his fame, Lúcio recognizes his opportunity to make a lasting change in the world and make it a better place.
OVERWATCH HEROES
Heroes are the main element in the game Overwatch, as the player can freely choose between them and their class and later play them.
In Overwatch you’ll find a variety of heroes: from the time-traveling adventurer to the armored, rocket-hammer-wielding warrior to the meditating robot monk. Each of the heroes plays differently, so mastering their abilities will only unlock their full potential. No two heroes are alike.

OVERWATCH
Overwatch is a team-based 6vs6 shooter that was released on May 24, 2016. Overwatch stays true to the true style of Blizzard’s previous titles. It was developed by Jeff Kaplan and is considered a “new concept” shooter in the FPS genre. The game was officially unveiled at BlizzCon along with 12 heroes on November 7, 2014.
The story of Overwatch is set on a highly fictionalized future version of Earth. In a time where humans and robots, which are called Omnics, live together (Chris Metzen hinted that the story deals with this very robot race). 30 years before the time when Overwatch takes place, the so-called “Omnic Crisis ” occurred. The robots, once helpers of humans, rebelled against their creators for reasons as yet unknown and triggered a worldwide chaos. Faced with the imminent destruction of human civilization, the best soldiers of all nations came together to form a program called “Overwatch”.
Their job was to protect the world from the Omnics, which they succeeded in doing. For the next 25 years, they were the protectors of the planet, united in an international coalition. Some agents stayed, some were replaced, but at some point something changed: the Overwatch disintegrated. However, 5 years later after this event, incidents with Omnics are again accumulating, a worldwide terrorist organization also seems interested in destabilizing the world order. A new crisis is looming. At this point, your career as an Overwatch agent begins.
