General

• The scaling of damage from hitscan weapons at maximum range of the following heroes has been reduced from 50% to 30%:
• Ashe
• Baptiste
• Bastion
• McCree
• Soldier: 76
• Widowmaker
• Wrecking Ball

You may not notice the effects of this change immediately, as damage scales more within a certain range, but the effectiveness of hitscan weapons will be slightly more limited outside of their optimal range.

BASTION
We increase the reliability of Bastion’s weapon in Configuration: Reconnaissance so that he can better defend himself in situations where he moves from place to place to set up Configuration: Gun.
	Configuration: Scout The weapon’s dispersion has been reduced from 1.5 to 1.2.

D.VA
Because of Echo’s duplicate, D.Va no longer receives a charge for the ultimate ability in the time between the use of self-destruct and the actual detonation. Echo’s increased ultimate charge rate allowed her to use Request Mech before the self-destruct was performed, making it difficult for enemies to get to safety.
	Request mech Damage range reduced from 3 to 2.5 meters. When using self-destruct, does not regain charge for ultimate ability until after detonation of their mech.

SOLDIER: 76
This increases the effectiveness of Tactical Sight alongside the Aiming Aid, whose usefulness diminishes somewhat with player accuracy.
	Heavy Pulse Rifle While Tactical Sight is active, damage reduction is disabled.

WIDOWMAKER
We are increasing Widowmaker’s optimal range for common sniper engagements on maps that were outside of optimal range due to damage reduction. The main purpose of the damage decrease for Widowmaker is to limit the efficiency of shots in the air from extreme range using her spider thread.
	Widow’s Kiss The distance for damage removal has been increased from 60-85 to 70-100 meters.

OVERWATCH

Overwatch is a team-based 6vs6 shooter that was released on May 24, 2016. Overwatch stays true to the true style of Blizzard’s previous titles. It was developed by Jeff Kaplan and is considered a “new concept” shooter in the FPS genre. The game was officially unveiled at BlizzCon along with 12 heroes on November 7, 2014.

The story of Overwatch is set on a highly fictionalized future version of Earth. In a time where humans and robots, which are called Omnics, live together (Chris Metzen hinted that the story deals with this very robot race). 30 years before the time when Overwatch takes place, the so-called “Omnic Crisis ” occurred. The robots, once helpers of humans, rebelled against their creators for reasons as yet unknown and triggered a worldwide chaos. Faced with the imminent destruction of human civilization, the best soldiers of all nations came together to form a program called “Overwatch”.

Their job was to protect the world from the Omnics, which they succeeded in doing. For the next 25 years, they were the protectors of the planet, united in an international coalition. Some agents stayed, some were replaced, but at some point something changed: the Overwatch disintegrated. However, 5 years later after this event, incidents with Omnics are again accumulating, a worldwide terrorist organization also seems interested in destabilizing the world order. A new crisis is looming. At this point, your career as an Overwatch agent begins.
