We’re celebrating the Year of the Ox!

We’re ringing in the Lunar New Year with shiny new – Season al extras like the legendary skins Bull Demon for Orisa, Dragon Fire for Bastion, Tiger Slayer for Ashe, and many more! Additionally, this event kicks off the fourth ranked – Season of Flag Conquest, and we’re introducing a new game mode: Bounty Hunter!

NEW GAME MODE: BOUNTY HUNTER (BRAWL).

Put your outlaw skills to the test in this new addition to the arcade: Bounty Hunter! The first kill of the match will make you a target for your opponents and earn you extra points for further kills, but beware: whoever takes you out becomes the next target!

GENERAL UPDATES

Feature update: Detailed playback control for Replay Viewer

• We have added a new option that allows you to choose between two different playback control modes, the standard control and the “detailed” playback control.
• With this “detailed” control you can increase or decrease the playback speed in smaller increments than 0.25x, from 0.10x to 1.00x. You can also hold down your “Move Camera Slowly” hotkey while changing the playback speed to adjust the acceleration of the playback speed. This allows you to capture cool moments in slow motion and much more!

General

• Added a “New” Ownership Filter to the Player Icon tab in the career profile
• Reorganized the layout of the escape menu while you are in a custom game
• Adjusted sound for boosted hit indicators to increase clarity

• Fixed a bug where enemy footsteps could not be heard in rare cases.
• Fixed a bug where the chat did not display as intended when a Real ID friend request was accepted.
• Fixed a bug that caused Sombra’s material effect to display on low hit points when playing replays on allies.

• Fixed a bug related to collision detection in the Pachimari game hall.
• Fixed a bug where map geometry was causing a gap between buildings.

• Fixed a bug where Brigitte’s barrier was not scaling as intended with workshop settings.

• Fixed a bug where the statistics for prevented deaths were not counted as intended.

Reaper

• Fixed a bug that caused his hit zone to not match the display when he was frozen while using his ultimate ability.

Reinhardt

• Fixed a bug where Reinhardt’s leaning animation was not playing as smoothly as intended.

Sombra

• Fixed a bug where the low hit point effect was sometimes not displayed as intended in replays.
• Fixed a bug where Sombra was visible during Camouflage when her model was still loaded for the match.

Symmetra

• Fixed a bug where Symmetra could die while teleporting.

Wrecking Ball

• Fixed a bug where Wrecking Ball could use collision course on rare occasions even though he was on the ground.

Zenyatta

• Fixed a bug related to the Toy Robot skin that caused the animations to not play as intended when using its spheres.
• Fixed a bug where sounds and effects were cancelled during the Meditating emote.

OVERWATCH

Overwatch is a team-based 6vs6 shooter that was released on May 24, 2016. Overwatch stays true to the true style of Blizzard’s previous titles. It was developed by Jeff Kaplan and is considered a “new concept” shooter in the FPS genre. The game was officially unveiled at BlizzCon along with 12 heroes on November 7, 2014.

The story of Overwatch is set on a highly fictionalized future version of Earth. In a time where humans and robots, which are called Omnics, live together (Chris Metzen hinted that the story deals with this very robot race). 30 years before the time when Overwatch takes place, the so-called “Omnic Crisis ” occurred. The robots, once helpers of humans, rebelled against their creators for reasons as yet unknown and triggered a worldwide chaos. Faced with the imminent destruction of human civilization, the best soldiers of all nations came together to form a program called “Overwatch”.

Their job was to protect the world from the Omnics, which they succeeded in doing. For the next 25 years, they were the protectors of the planet, united in an international coalition. Some agents stayed, some were replaced, but at some point something changed: the Overwatch disintegrated. However, 5 years later after this event, incidents with Omnics are again accumulating, a worldwide terrorist organization also seems interested in destabilizing the world order. A new crisis is looming. At this point, your career as an Overwatch agent begins.
