PoGO – Pokémon GO: Are the Special Box, Super Box and Hyperbox worth it for the Mewtu Raids?

In Pokémon Go, you can find Mewtu in raids until October 23 – and the developers at Niantic have brought a new box sale to the Pokémon Go ingameshop. We’ll explain to you what the Special Box, the Super Box, and the Hyper Box are good for, and for which trainers they might be worthwhile!

Mewtu has been on the loose in Niantic’s AR app Pokémon Go for a few days now! The legendary Pokémon can now no longer be fought and caught exclusively via EX Raids, but via normal Tier 5 Raids until October 23. In addition, the developers of the pocket monster app have introduced a new offer for Special Box, Super Box and Hyperbox in the Pokémon Go ingameshop. The Pokémon Go fans at Pokémon Go Hub have analyzed for whom the offers are worthwhile – or not. In the following, we will first list the contents for you:

The calculation of which box is worthwhile is based on the package prices for Lucky Egg, Smoke, and Star Pieces, since buying these items as a package is always more worthwhile than buying them individually. The special box this time is more or less a starter box if you want to raid as well as hatch eggs (to get one of the Regionals, for example); however, it is less suitable for the hardcore players among you, who in most cases have more coins available anyway. For 480 Pokécoins, you get a pretty decent deal.

The Superbox, on the other hand, doesn’t do particularly well in terms of value for money. Especially the smoke and the lure modules seem out of place. If you really want to get the smoke and lock modules in addition to the raid passes and the spawn machines, then you can get them. If you’re only interested in lock modules and smoke, then you’re better off buying the respective packages for these items.

The Hyperbox is interesting for you if you don’t want to buy it exclusively for the Raid Passes. 14 Raid Passes cost 1,400 Poké Coins in the store, which means you should buy them solo if you don’t want Hatcheries, Star Pieces, and Lucky Eggs. The value for money is best with the Hyperbox when you have a use for all the items.

Pokémon Go is the mobile spin-off of Nintendo’s popular Pokémon game series for Android and iOS. It is a so-called “location-based game”, i.e. a game that uses the player’s immediate surroundings. It is based on the principle of augmented reality.

Pokémon Map: Between landmarks and sights

Pokémon Go uses a Global Positioning System (GPS) to determine the player’s location and displays it on a map that also represents the playing field. The map is based on OpenStreetMap maps. The game is played mostly outdoors and uses landmarks, landmarks and other notable or eye-catching objects in the world to position either PokéStops or arenas there for you to battle for supremacy. Join either Team Intuition (Team Yellow, Zapdos), Team Wisdom (Team Blue, Arktos), or Team Daring (Team Red, Lavados).
