Just in time for Easter, Niantic has launched the so-called Eggstravaganza event in Pokémon GO. During this special ingame event, Pokémon that you normally only get from 5- or 10-km eggs will also hatch from 2-km eggs. You can read all the important details about the event in our separate article.
In addition to the big egg hatching, the developers are currently offering you three different item boxes in the store. The dataminers from Pokemongohub have analyzed the value of the individual boxes in detail, which we don’t want to withhold from you.
Overall, all boxes offer halfway fair deals: For the special box you pay 480 coins and receive an equivalent of 800 coins. The box contains two smokes, three incubators and five star parts. If you’re only after the incubators, the box doesn’t offer enough. However, if you’re also after the star pieces and smoke, you’ll get a decent deal that should be especially interesting for casual gamers.
With the Super Box, you get the equivalent of 1750 coins for the 780 coins you invest. Especially because of the five super incubators, the Superbox offers an excellent deal, the five units of smoke and the ten star parts are a nifty bonus. If you don’t want to invest in a hyperbox right away and are only after the incubators, you’ll definitely get your money’s worth with the Superbox.
If you’re not afraid of a larger investment, but want the best possible value for the coins you’ve paid, you should take a closer look at the Hyperbox. For 1480 coins, you’ll get 25 star pieces, eight super incubators, five raid passes, and ten lucky eggs. Normally, you would have to pay 3850 coins for these. If you are interested in a wide range of different items, the Hyperbox is definitely the best choice.
