Pokémon Go Fest 2020 participants have unlocked three weeks of events for all players of the pocket monster app. The second hyperbonus is Enigma Week, during which, among other things, the mysterious Pygraulon will be added to the game, you’ll be able to find Icognito in the Raids, and Deoxys will return to the Tier 5 Raids. Joy among fans of Pokémon Go, because the hardworking participants of Pokémon Go Fest 2020 have unlocked no less than three Hyperbonus Event Weeks from which trainers can benefit due to the amount of Global Challenges completed. While Dragon Week, the first hyperbonus, is already coming to an end, the main players of Enigma Week are getting ready to make their appearance. Update as of August 07, 2020: Enigma Week has started as planned, despite the timing issues of Dragon Week and the associated Temporary Research Hyperbonus 2020. There is no new Temporary Research. Remember: Shiny Icognito in the letters U, L, T, R, and A is only available for a limited time – accordingly only for the duration of the Enigma Week as Shiny.
It’s a pity, though: Only the Dragon Week seemed to come with a limited research, neither for the Enigma Week nor for the following One-All Week a special research was announced. If there will be a limited research for the Enigma Week, we will update this guide accordingly at the start of the event. Now all the important information that diligent Pokémon Go players need for Enigma Week:
- The Enigma Week event starts on August 7, 2020 at 10:00 PM our time and ends on August 14, 2020 at 10:00 PM our time.
- The following Pokémon appear more frequently in the wild: Sterndu, Pummeluff, Piepi, Lunastein, Sonnfel, Puppance, Bronzel, and Pygraulon.
- The following Pokémon hatch from 7-km eggs: Pii, Fluffeluff, Lunastein, Sonnfel, and Pygraulon.
- The following Pokémon appear in Raid battles: Bronzong, Lepumentas, Pygraulon, and Icognito U, L, T, R, and A.
- Deoxys appears in level 5 Raid battles, and if you’re lucky, you may even encounter an Iridescent Deoxys!
- If you’re lucky, you may also encounter Iridescent Stardu!
By the way, the Enigma Week graphic tells us that you will encounter Deoxys in its normal form in Tier 5 Raids. So far, the mysterious Pokémon from the third generation has only appeared in EX Raids in all of its forms, so all players should grab a Deoxys or two, especially since you can also get it as a Shiny if you’re lucky! Pokémon GO
Pokémon Go is the mobile spin-off of Nintendo’s popular Pokémon game series for Android and iOS. It is a so-called “location-based game”, i.e. a game that uses the player’s immediate surroundings. It is based on the principle of augmented reality.
Pokémon Map: Between landmarks and sights
Pokémon Go uses a Global Positioning System (GPS) to determine the player’s location and displays it on a map that also represents the playing field. The map is based on OpenStreetMap maps. The game is played mostly outdoors and uses landmarks, landmarks and other notable or eye-catching objects in the world to position either PokéStops or arenas there for you to battle for supremacy. Join either Team Intuition (Team Yellow, Zapdos), Team Wisdom (Team Blue, Arktos), or Team Daring (Team Red, Lavados). Under their flag you can then fight for the arenas, which are placed at hotspots like churches or similar. Pokémon can appear anywhere, though.
Pocket monsters visible on the Pokémon Go Map are randomly loaded into the game’s virtual map by the game server. If several players are playing in the same location, each player can see and catch the Pokémon independently of the others.
Pokémon Go Updates, News, Raids and More
The developers at Niantic regularly provide Pokémon Go with new updates or special raids that should only be tackled in a group of several people. The Pokémon Go Raids are therefore very popular, as they also offer the prospect of particularly rare Pokémon. For example, in the past, legendary Pokémon could always be caught on special occasions (Pokémon Go events). For particularly eager mobile or smartphone Pokémon trainers, there is also an external IV calculator, such as the online tool from Pokemon.gameinfo.io or on Pokefans.net, to check the values of your Pokémon.
