PoGO – Pokémon Go Fest 2021: You’ll want to catch these 15 Legendarys on Raid Day!

On Sunday, July 18, 2021, the legendary raid day will take place between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. as part of Pokémon Go Fest 2021 – during this time, staggered by hour and type, primarily legendary Pokémon will appear in the raids. We’ll tell you which 15 Pokémon you’ll want to get for the metagame!

In Pokémon Go, the big bash called Pokémon Go Fest 2021 will start on July 17, 2021 (this Saturday). The legendary raid day will take place on Sunday: Between 10:00 and 18:00, mainly legendary Pokémon will then appear in the raids, and all of them that have been released in the game so far. To tackle the amount of Legendaries, the spawns change every hour, assigned to certain type groups. This looks like this:

During the Wind Hour, which takes place from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. (local time), Mewtu, Ho-Oh, Latias, Latios, Regigigas, Giratina in Change Form, Cresselia, Viridium, and Boreos in Animal Spirit Form appear in Level 5 Raid battles.
During Lava Hour, which takes place from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. (local time), Lavados, Entei, Regirock, Groudon, Heatran, Reshiram, Terrakium, Demeteros in Animal Spirit Form, and Yveltal appear in Level 5 Raid battles.
During Frost Hour, which takes place from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. (local time), Arktos, Suicune, Lugia, Regice, Kyogre, Palkia, and Kyurem will appear in Level 5 Raid battles, and Selfe, Vesprit, and Tobutz will each appear in their usual regions in Raid battles!
During the Thunder Hour, which takes place from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. (local time), Zapdos, Raikou, Registeel, Rayquaza, Dialga, Kobalium, Voltolos in Animal Spirit Form, Zekrom, and Xerneas will appear in Level 5 Raid battles.

Wind hour

Between 10:00 and 11:00 and between 14:00 and 15:00 you will focus on

Mewtu, because it’s a blast in raids and against Team Rocket bosses, and also serves you well in the Master League in the Battle League
Giratina (Wandelform), because like Mewtu it is very powerful in Raids and against Team Rocket and performs great in the Hyper League of the Battle League
Cresselia, because PvP fans get their money’s worth with the Pokémon in the Hyper League

Lava hour

Between 11:00 and 12:00 and between 15:00 and 16:00 you take aim at these Pokémon

Lavados, because it’s still one of the best fire attackers the game has to offer
Groudon, because it’s one of the best ground-type Pokémon, and it’s also doing well in the Battle League Master League
Reshiram, because it also packs a punch in the Fire type.
Terrakium, because like Groudon, it’s a very powerful Ground Pokémon and a reliable counter.
Demeteros (Animal Spirit), because like Terrakium and Groudon, it’s an important Ground-type attacker

Frost Hour

Between 12:00 and 13:00 and between 16:00 and 17:00, aim for battles against these pocket monsters

Arktos, because it cleans up mightily in the Hyper League in the Battle League
Lugia, because it sits in first place in the Pokémon Go PvP Master League, and it’s not going anywhere anytime soon.
Kyogre, because it is still a very good attacker of the type water and is often used in Raids
Palkia, because it is a powerful attacker of the type dragon

Thursday hour

Between 13:00 and 14:00 and between 17:00 and 18:00 you mainly want to challenge the following Mon to battle

Rayquaza, because it is a bomb of both type Dragon and type Flight
Dialga, because it is not only a mighty dragon, but also a outstanding steel counter and shines in the master league of the fighting league
Zekrom, because it is very strong in both type dragon and type electric

Pokémon GO

Pokémon Go is the mobile spin-off of Nintendo’s popular Pokémon game series for Android and iOS. It is a so-called “location-based game”, i.e. a game that uses the player’s immediate surroundings. It is based on the principle of augmented reality.

Pokémon Map: Between landmarks and sights

Pokémon Go uses a Global Positioning System (GPS) to determine the player’s location and displays it on a map that also represents the playing field. The map is based on OpenStreetMap maps. The game is played mostly outdoors and uses landmarks, landmarks and other notable or eye-catching objects in the world to position either PokéStops or arenas there for you to battle for supremacy.
