A strange item has appeared in the Pokémon Go store that you can redeem for free. The item is titled with the appearance of a battle ticket with the word “FIGHT”. Behind it is a Temporary Research for the Battle League in the ALoLa – Season . In the Pokémon Go store, since the start of the ALoLa – Season , you’ll find a strange item offered for free alongside the daily free box. The item, which has the look of a Premium Pass in gray, has the rather martial name “FIGHT” – yes, all capitalized – and means that you are ready to participate in Pokémon battles when you redeem it. So what’s this all about?
FIGHT – Limited research for the ALoLa – Season .
The free item from the Pokémon Go store, if redeemed, will get you Temporary Research for the ALoLa – Season , which is all about battles in the Battle League. You may recall that because the creators of Pokémon Go want to make some basic adjustments to the Battle League during the – Season , there are no real new additions to Trainer Battles – the Battle League is in a sort of maintenance mode.
Accordingly, the Fighting Research will probably be the only indication that you can get some rewards in the Fighting League. But beware: if you don’t like trainer fights, you don’t need to redeem the item. To complete the Temporary Research, you’ll need to win over 200 battlegrounds, and the rewards are only in the form of stardust. Below is an overview of the steps and rewards known so far:
