The bird Pokémon Ibitak of the type Normal and Flight can be found every now and then in the Tier 3 Raids of Pokémon Go. The Pokémon from the 1st generation can also be found surprisingly often in the ALoLa region. There, it hunts in the sea instead of rocky grasslands. Fun fact: When Ash started his Pokémon adventure, he slept through the distribution of the starter Pokémon, and the professor was left with a grumpy Pikachu who didn’t think much of spending his days in a Pokéball. Pikachu had no desire at all to go on an adventure together. It wasn’t until an angry swarm attacked Habitak (Ibitak’s underdevelopment) and Ash rescued his partner (even stealing Misty’s bike in return) that Pikachu realized Ash wasn’t going to be just another trainer, but a friend for life.
Ibitak as raid boss
Ibitak is of the Normal and Flight type and therefore has the weaknesses Rock, Electric and Ice. For your rock attackers, you should hope for cloudy weather, because then their attacks will be strengthened. If you want to break Ibitak with electric attacks, you’ll have to wait for rain. Your attackers with ice attacks will be strengthened when it snows.
The bird Pokémon comes with 14,379 CP and, as always, you’ll need to bring the life bar to zero to have a chance of catching the Pokémon. Ibitak can be beaten on its own. However, if you’ve just started your adventure or are still struggling with attackers, it’s best to team up with a few other Pokémon Go players. Pokémon Go: Catch Ibitak
Once you’ve defeated Ibitak, it’s down to the nitty-gritty – Pokéball away! At level 20, the bird Pokémon has 1141 CP with a 100% IV value. If the Pokémon is boosted to level 25 in cloudy or windy conditions, it has 1426 CP with perfect 100% IV scores. We wish you a successful hunt!

Pokémon Go is the mobile spin-off of Nintendo’s popular Pokémon game series for Android and iOS. It is a so-called “location-based game”, i.e. a game that uses the player’s immediate surroundings. It is based on the principle of augmented reality.
Pokémon Map: Between landmarks and sights
Pokémon Go uses a Global Positioning System (GPS) to determine the player’s location and displays it on a map that also represents the playing field. The map is based on OpenStreetMap maps. The game is played mostly outdoors and uses landmarks, landmarks and other notable or eye-catching objects in the world to position either PokéStops or arenas there for you to battle for supremacy. Join either Team Intuition (Team Yellow, Zapdos), Team Wisdom (Team Blue, Arktos), or Team Daring (Team Red, Lavados). Under their flag you can then fight for the arenas, which are placed at hotspots like churches or similar. Pokémon can appear anywhere, though.
Pocket monsters visible on the Pokémon Go Map are randomly loaded into the game’s virtual map by the game server. If several players are playing in the same location, each player can see and catch the Pokémon independently of the others.

The developers at Niantic regularly provide Pokémon Go with new updates or special raids that should only be tackled in a group of several people. The Pokémon Go Raids are therefore very popular, as they also offer the prospect of particularly rare Pokémon. For example, in the past, legendary Pokémon could always be caught on special occasions (Pokémon Go events).
