The patron saint of the ALoLa island Ula Ula – Kapu-Toro – is moving into the Pokémon Go Raids as a boss. Do you already have an idea which Pokémon you want to fight with? ALoLa, Pokémon Trainers! Are you wondering why first Kapu-Riki, then Kapu-Fala, and now Kapu-Toro entered the Raids in that exact order? The Sun and Moon game editions were the first time the Pokémon series saw a departure from the typical Arena Order collecting. Instead, you embarked on an island walk, visiting different islands along the way. You start on the island of Mele-Mele – the island that Kapu-Riki watches over. Fittingly, there are special researches like “A Mele-Mele Adventure” in the ALoLa – Season in Pokémon Go. Currently, on March 31, 2022, Kapu-Fala is still in the Raid with the research “An Akala Adventure” and presumably Kapu-Toro will then have “An Ula-Ula Adventure”. Kapu-Toro as Raid Boss
With a Plant-Type Pokémon, the thought that you can just torch it with Fire-Type attacks naturally comes to mind. But if we look at the effectiveness of types, there is a clear winner: Pokémon with Poison-type attacks. This is because both Fairy Type and Plant Type are extremely vulnerable to Poison Type. So it quickly becomes clear that while Fire is strong alongside Flight, Steel, and Ice, you’ll do much more damage with Poison attacks. So if you can, pack your best poison attackers for a mud bomb battle!
Your Poison attackers are boosted by overcast weather, so they deal even more damage than they already do. Your Fire attackers get stronger in sunny or clear weather. The same goes for ice and steel in snowy conditions.
Kapu-Toro comes with 49,035 CP and heats up with fairy attacks in overcast or windy weather and with plant attacks in sunny or clear weather. It’s best to team up in threes to take down the patron saint of Ula-Ula. Below is a list of the strongest attackers against Kapu-Toro.

Pokémon Go: Catch Kapu-Toro
Once you’ve defeated Kapu-Toro, there’s only one thing left to do – get rid of the Pokéball! At level 20, Kapu-Toro has 1953 CP at 100% IV. If the legendary Pokémon is boosted to level 25 in overcast or sunny/clear weather, it will have 2442 CP with perfect 100% IV scores. We wish you a successful hunt!

Pokémon Go is the mobile spin-off of Nintendo’s popular Pokémon game series for Android and iOS. It is a so-called “location-based game”, i.e. a game that uses the player’s immediate surroundings. It is based on the principle of augmented reality.
Pokémon Map: Between landmarks and sights
Pokémon Go uses a Global Positioning System (GPS) to determine the player’s location and displays it on a map that also represents the playing field. The map is based on OpenStreetMap maps. The game is played mostly outdoors and uses landmarks, landmarks and other notable or eye-catching objects in the world to position either PokéStops or arenas there for you to battle for supremacy. Join either Team Intuition (Team Yellow, Zapdos), Team Wisdom (Team Blue, Arktos), or Team Daring (Team Red, Lavados). Under their flag you can then fight for the arenas, which are placed at hotspots like churches or similar. Pokémon can appear anywhere, though.
Pocket monsters visible on the Pokémon Go Map are randomly loaded into the game’s virtual map by the game server. If several players are playing in the same location, each player can see and catch the Pokémon independently of the others.

The developers at Niantic regularly provide Pokémon Go with new updates or special raids that should only be tackled in a group of several people. The Pokémon Go Raids are therefore very popular, as they also offer the prospect of particularly rare Pokémon. For example, in the past, legendary Pokémon could always be caught on special occasions (Pokémon Go events).
