A new month in Pokémon Go brings a new Mega Pokémon. This time it’s Mega Aerodactyl’s turn as part of the Mountains of Power event. Do you want to face the mon and unlock its Mega Evolution? Then we have tips here in the counter guide for Mega Aerodactyl.
Mega Aerodactyl has been unlocked in Pokémon Go to coincide with the Mountains of Power event, where it will spawn in the Mega Raids from now until February 1, 2022 at 10:00 am. So you have enough time to play the evolution, if you want to. In order to make this as easy as possible, we have prepared a counter guide to Mega Aerodactyl for you.
Mega-Aerodactyl in the Raid
Mega-Aerodactyl is a Pokémon of the types rock and flight, therefore it is vulnerable to attacks of the types ice, electric, rock, steel and water. Although it seems to have so many weaknesses, you should play the battle against Mega Aerodactyl with at least three or more trainers, so that you can beat down the 56,399 WP within the time limit.
Because the raid boss is boosted in partly cloudy as well as windy weather, you should rather not rely on ice type attackers for rock attacks like Stone Throw and Stone Hail. But there’s a good selection of good counters for Mega Aerodactyl anyway, which means you don’t necessarily have to rely on a Mamutel or Impoleon army right now. Pokémon Go: Catch Mega Aerodactyl
As already known, after defeating a Mega Pokémon, you will not catch Mega Aerodactyl, but a normal Aerodactyl. If you have successfully completed the battle against Mega Aerodactyl, the freestyle follows after the duty and you have the chance to banish the pocket monster into your Pokéball. Then Aerodactyl has 1,590 CP at level 20 with 100% IV values. If Aerodactyl is boosted to level 25 in partly cloudy or windy weather, it will have 1,988 CP at perfect 100% IV values. Pokémon Map: Between landmarks and sights
Pokémon Go uses a Global Positioning System (GPS) to determine the player’s location and displays it on a map that also represents the playing field. The map is based on OpenStreetMap maps. The game is played mostly outdoors and uses landmarks, landmarks and other notable or eye-catching objects in the world to position either PokéStops or arenas there for you to battle for supremacy. Join either Team Intuition (Team Yellow, Zapdos), Team Wisdom (Team Blue, Arktos), or Team Daring (Team Red, Lavados).
