PoGO – Pokémon Go: “More about Meltan” - the special research on the new Pokémon is here

For the launch of Pokémon Let’s Go, Niantic has unlocked the special research for Meltan called “More on Meltan” in Pokémon Go on November 16 at 10 pm. We tell you what you need to do, if that is already known.

For this, Pokémon Go players around the world have already gathered the requirements for steps 1 to 9; as early as step 8, you will be rewarded with an encounter with a Meltan. Original news from November 16, 22:30: In Pokémon Go, the Meltan special research has been launched at the start of Pokémon Let’s Go. Under the unfortunately bugged title “quest_title_meltan_0” you will receive the first step – unfortunately, it is also not known what Professor Eich will tell you about the special research this time, because the texts from him are also not delivered. Meltan Quest in Pokémon Go – Step 1

Rotate five PokéStops or arenas – 500 experience points
Catch 10 Pokémon – 500 experience points
Send 5 Pokémon – 500 experience points

Earn 2 candies with your buddy – 1,000 experience points.

Pokémon GO

Pokémon Go is the mobile spin-off of Nintendo’s popular Pokémon game series for Android and iOS. It is a so-called “location-based game”, i.e. a game that uses the player’s immediate surroundings. It is based on the principle of augmented reality.

Pokémon Map: Between landmarks and sights

Pokémon Go uses a Global Positioning System (GPS) to determine the player’s location and displays it on a map that also represents the playing field. The map is based on OpenStreetMap maps.
