PoGO – Pokémon Go: No problem for Magmar - Guide to special research

The second Community Day in November 2020 is coming up in Pokémon Go, and after Elektek, the spotlight is now on Magmar. On November 21, 2020, between 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., the Fire Pokémon from Generation 1 will make an increased appearance in the wild, and its evolution Magbrant will learn the exclusive attack Thunderbolt. The next Community Day event is coming up in Pokémon Go in November 2020. After Elektek has already paid its respects, it’s the turn of the fire Pokémon Magmar on November 21, 2020. Between 11:00 and 17:00 Magmar will appear more frequently in the wild, and if you evolve Magmar into Magbrant between 11:00 and 19:00, it will learn the exclusive attack Thunderbolt. But even apart from that, you can expect a few interesting bonuses, such as a smoke duration of three hours and a reduction in the running distance for hatching eggs.

The steps and rewards for the special research have been adapted from the Elektek Community Day research. Since the evolution from Magmar to Magbrant also requires Sinnoh Stones like Elektek and Elevoltek, it can be assumed that the special researches are very similar. However, on November 21, 2020, we will still update the guide to No Problem for Magmar (formerly known as No Challenge for Magmar) as soon as the research is available and if there have been any changes.

Furthermore, trainers who don’t want to pay 0.99 Euros for the special research for Magmar can still expect the Temporary Research for Magmar. You will most likely be able to get hold of Sinnoh Stones as well. Below is the overview of the Community Day bonuses that will be active for all players. Community Day for Magmar in Pokémon Go will take place on November 21, 2020 between 11:00 am and 5:00 pm local time.

Pokémon GO

Pokémon Go is the mobile spin-off of Nintendo’s popular Pokémon game series for Android and iOS. It is a so-called “location-based game”, i.e. a game that uses the player’s immediate surroundings. It is based on the principle of augmented reality.

Pokémon Map: Between landmarks and sights
