Niantic has not officially announced the fourth Pokémon generation yet, but a handful of hints that have surfaced in recent weeks could point to its imminent arrival in Pokémon GO. If you want to prepare for the new pocket monsters after the photo bomb of the three starter monsters Chelast, Panflam, and Plinfa on the app’s second birthday and the supposed leak of an event for the launch of the 4th gen, you have the opportunity to do so in Pokémon GO’s current raid rotation.
From July 19 to August 16, you can meet the Trasla evolution Kirlia in the Tier 2 Raids, whose male conspecifics receive the new evolution Galagladi with the fourth generation. Raid boss Kirlia faces you with 6,005 CP, belongs to the types Fairy and Psycho and can be defeated and caught solo without major difficulties. The counter Pokémon of your choice have Spirit, Poison or Steel attacks.
Since its introduction with the third generation, Trasla can evolve into Kirlia and then into the Psycho Fairy Pokémon Guardevoir. With the fourth generation, on the other hand, you can upgrade male Kirlia to the Psycho Battle Pokémon Galagladi.

The weather outlook
According to the Pokémon GO Hub, Kirlia is not really dangerous in any weather, but the best raid conditions are in cloudy weather. Just like wind, clouds boost Kirlia’s level from 20 to 25, but unlike windy weather, they don’t give the raid boss’s only two powerful psychic attacks a damage bonus.
- With level 20 and no weather boost, the captured raid boss has 440 to 481 WP,
- With weather boost and level 25, the captured raid boss has 551 to 602 WP.

Pokémon Go is the mobile spin-off of Nintendo’s popular Pokémon game series for Android and iOS. It is a so-called “location-based game”, i.e. a game that uses the player’s immediate surroundings. It is based on the principle of augmented reality.
Pokémon Map: Between landmarks and sights
Pokémon Go uses a Global Positioning System (GPS) to determine the player’s location and displays it on a map that also represents the playing field. The map is based on OpenStreetMap maps. The game is played mostly outdoors and uses landmarks, landmarks and other notable or eye-catching objects in the world to position either PokéStops or arenas there for you to battle for supremacy.
