The makers of Pokémon Go have announced the details for the upcoming Sinnoh Week event. This means that, among other things, more Pokémon from the Sinnoh region will appear in the wild and in Raids. The Collector’s Challenge will be a bit trickier, because you will also have to catch two Crypto Pokémon.
Pokémon Go’s Einall Week is coming to an end, so the developers at Niantic are already telling you what to expect during the next event, Sinnoh Week. This time, of course, all sorts of pocket monsters from Sinnoh will appear in the wild and in raids.
It will be interesting if you want to take the Collector’s Challenge for Hyperballs and a Magnetic Lock Module, because you have to catch two Crypto Pokémon for them! And you will only get them if you defeat Team Rocket’s bullies – however, before a battle, it is not necessarily possible for laymen to estimate which Crypto-Mon you will then receive in the reward encounter. Below you can find the information about the Sinnoh event. By the way, Hoenn Week is coming up after that, which runs from January 19, 2021 to January 24, 2021.
By the way, during the Sinnoh event, meta players who are focused on the PvE content will want to grab all sorts of Koknodon, as the evolution Rameidon is a strong raid counter. Also, don’t forget to keep an eye out for Heatran in the raids!

The Hoenn Week event in Pokémon Go starts on January 12, 2021 at 10:00 AM and will be active until January 17, 2021 at 8:00 PM local time.
- Chelast, Panflam, Plinfa, Bidiza, Koknodon, Schilterus, Wadribie, Bamelin, Driftlon, Charmian, Shnurgarst, Hippopotas, Pionskora, and Shnebedeck will appear more frequently in the wild. If you’re lucky, you might even encounter an Iridescent Bamelin!
- The following Pokémon hatch from 5-km eggs: Zirpurze, Knospi, Koknodon, Schilterus, Bronzel, Mobai, Hippopotas, and Glibunkel.
- Exclusive field research projects will give you stardust and allow you to encounter Pokémon like Chelast, Panflam, Plinfa, Koknodon, Schilterus, and Bamelin.
- The following Pokémon appear in Raid battles:
- Chelast, Panflam, Plinfa, Sheinux, Bamelin, and Kaumalat appear in level 1 Raid battles.
- Schlapor, Hippoterus, Toxiquak, and Lumineon appear in Level 3 Raid battles.
- Heatran appears in level 5 Raid battles.
- Mega Glurak Y, Mega Turtok, and Mega Rexblisar appear in Mega Raids.
- Complete the Collector’s Challenge around the Sinnoh region by catching Chelast, Panflam, Plinfa, Koknodon, Schilterus, Wadribie, Bamelin, Crypto-Skunkapuh, and Crypto-Shnebedeck. In return, you will receive stardust, a magnetic lock module and 15 hyperballs. You can track your progress in the Today View.

Pokémon Go is the mobile spin-off of Nintendo’s popular Pokémon game series for Android and iOS. It is a so-called “location-based game”, i.e. a game that uses the player’s immediate surroundings. It is based on the principle of augmented reality.
Pokémon Map: Between landmarks and sights
Pokémon Go uses a Global Positioning System (GPS) to determine the player’s location and displays it on a map that also represents the playing field. The map is based on OpenStreetMap maps. The game is played mostly outdoors and uses landmarks, landmarks and other notable or eye-catching objects in the world to position either PokéStops or arenas there for you to battle for supremacy.
