PoGO – Pokémon GO: What to throw away when the pockets are full?

Pokémon Go fans know the problem of the bulging inventory. Especially due to the change that there are no more experience points when shooting at the PokéStop, if the items are not collected, there is a lack of space. Throw what away? Pokéballs? Potions? Berries?

Pokémon Go continues to be played diligently, regularly still by 65 million players a month, as Niantic CEO John Hanke reported at London Games Festival 2017. And the trainers are still busy on the road, catching pocket monsters, shooting at PokéStops, fighting for the arenas. And pretty much always have a full inventory.

Especially when Pokémon trainers are out and about in city centers, where you can stumble across a PokéStop every three meters, the bags soon burst at the seams. This is especially stupid because Niantic released an update to Pokémon Go some time ago that ensures that you no longer receive experience points if you turn at the PokéStop with bulging bags. If you don’t collect the items at the PokéStop, you won’t get any XP. The authors of PokémonGoHub have also thought about the problem with full bags. And they give you the following hints!

Pokémon Go: Clean up your bags until level 20

Until you reach level 20 in Pokémon Go, you can actually throw away everything that you have an excessive amount of in your bag. Since you shouldn’t be fighting in arenas much at that level anyway, because it’s simply too expensive, you’re most likely to be able to do without revitalizers and potions. And as cool as the effect of nana berries may sound, it’s pretty useless realistically. So get rid of nana berries. Keep the Himmih Berries and Sanana Berries, though!

Pokémon Go: Clean up your pockets until level 25

Even up to level 25, the list doesn’t change much, but the priorities do. Your level-ups also give you stronger potions, so you can safely do without potions, but you can keep super potions and hyper potions. Nana Berries climb to 2nd place in the level range, for the same reason as before: they’re actually useless junk that only clogs up your pockets. Vivifiers come in at rank 3, but don’t blindly throw them all away; keep a few, as this will slowly get you into the regions where arena trips are worthwhile.

Pokémon Go: Clean up your bags from level 25 onwards

Once you reach level 25 in Pokémon Go, the list changes a bit. First on the list of things you can throw away are potions and super potions. Potions stay in your pockets, but the others don’t heal your Mon enough to be worth keeping. In second place are Pokéballs. How? Pokéballs? Only if you have a lot of Superballs or Hyperballs in your pockets. You probably already know that you can burn through a ball supply quite quickly if a Pokémon refuses to stay in the ball. In 3rd place are again the Nana Berries – you already know, they are relatively useless.

Pokémon Go: Clean up your bags at level 30

At level 30 in Pokémon Go, you know what you want to keep, namely hyper and max potions, normal and max enliveners, and of course your trusty Pokéballs and Himmihberries if you want to keep hunting. If, on the other hand, you’re relying entirely on arena gameplay, you won’t need balls and berries for that, of course.

Pokémon Go is the mobile spin-off of Nintendo’s popular Pokémon game series for Android and iOS. It is a so-called “location-based game”, i.e. a game that uses the player’s immediate surroundings. It is based on the principle of augmented reality.

Pokémon Map: Between landmarks and sights

Pokémon Go uses a Global Positioning System (GPS) to determine the player’s location and displays it on a map that also represents the playing field. The map is based on OpenStreetMap maps. The game is played mostly outdoors and uses landmarks, landmarks and other notable or eye-catching objects in the world to position either PokéStops or arenas there for you to battle for supremacy. Join either Team Intuition (Team Yellow, Zapdos), Team Wisdom (Team Blue, Arktos), or Team Daring (Team Red, Lavados). The developers at Niantic regularly provide Pokémon Go with new updates or special raids that should only be tackled in a group of several people. The Pokémon Go Raids are therefore very popular, as they also offer the prospect of particularly rare Pokémon. For example, in the past, legendary Pokémon could always be caught on special occasions (Pokémon Go events).
