In May 2021, Xerneas, the legendary life Pokémon from the Kalos region, will enter the game’s Tier 5 Raids from Niantic for the first time since Pokémon Go’s release. Joy. The elegant Fairy-type pocket monster will then be subsequently replaced by Yveltal, and then Zygarde will surely follow in the Raids in June 2021. Xerneas – best counters for the raid
Xerneas is a legendary Pokémon of the type Fairy and accordingly it takes double damage from attacks of the type Poison and Steel. On the other hand, powerful Dragon Pokémon, for example, only cause moderate damage to Xerneas, especially since Xerneas can use the Fairy attack Moon Power to give opposing Dragon Mon a powerful punch.
You’ll need to box down a whopping 45,899 WP to defeat Xerneas. Since Xerneas primarily has normal attacks, such as Tackle and Gigastruck, the Zen Headbutt psycho attack is more dangerous for Poison attackers. Other than that, Xerneas shouldn’t cause you any problems if you attack with at least four or more trainers. If you have the perfect counters at your disposal, you can also defeat Xerneas with three players.
The following Pokémon are good counters for Xerneas. We have disregarded Crypto versions of Pokémon. However, a Crypto Metagross is actually the optimal counter for Xerneas, even before Mega Gengar.

If you have successfully completed the battle against Xerneas and have the chance to banish the pocket monster into your Pokéball, then Xerneas has 2,160 CP at level 20 with 100% IV values. Pokémon Go uses a Global Positioning System (GPS) to determine the player’s location and displays it on a map that also represents the playing field. The map is based on OpenStreetMap maps.
