Original news from May 26, 2020: Joy among Pokémon Go players as the legendary Tao trio from Generation 5 will soon be making an appearance in the Tier 5 Raids of Niantic’s pocket monster game. Reshiram will make its first appearance starting at 22:00 on May 26, 2020, for which we have already prepared a counter guide. After that, Zekrom and Kyurem will follow, although no date has been confirmed for either of them yet. But that doesn’t stop us from giving you some tips on how to best stand up to the black dragon and electric monster in the Zekrom counter guide. Because after Reshiram has a good chance of becoming the best fire attacker in the game to date (up to 80 percent stronger than Entei), Zekrom will probably cut a similarly good figure – it has the chance to outperform Elevoltek and Raikou.

Pokémon Go: Zekrom as a raid boss – counter.

The legendary one-all dragon Zekrom of the type dragon and electric and has 53,394 CP as a raid boss, which you want to beat down with your counters. As with Reshiram, Zekrom can be countered primarily by strong dragons, but also takes a decent beating from ground and ice attackers. It’s assumed that Zekrom can be defeated by a trio of players with Best Friends bonuses and weather boosts, but if you want to be on the safe side, take five to seven high-level trainers or 10+ low-level trainers into battle – long-distance passes make that quite possible.

Of course, since Zekrom is a dragon, it can have dragon attacks, which of course makes it dangerous to your dragon counters – the instant attack Fire Ember and the charge attack Rage Attack are absolute killers. Zekrom is boosted in windy as well as rainy weather, and when it rains, the possible Charge Beam (Instant) and Charge (Charge) electric attacks then become very dangerous to your ground attackers – you might want to get a taste of battle first if you’re only traveling with a few players, and keep a ground and dragon team up your sleeve, respectively. Ice mon, which you choose for combat, only have to be wary of the charge attack Light Cannon. Based on stats and theoretical battle runs, the following strong Zekrom counters have emerged:

Pokémon Go: Catch Zekrom

If you have successfully completed the battle against Zekrom, the freestyle follows after the duty and you have the chance to banish the pocket monster into your Pokéball. Then Zekrom has 2,307 CP at level 20 with 100% IV values. If Zekrom is boosted to level 25 in rainy or windy weather, then it will have 2,884 CP at perfect 100% IV values. Pokémon GO

Pokémon Go is the mobile spin-off of Nintendo’s popular Pokémon game series for Android and iOS. It is a so-called “location-based game”, i.e. a game that uses the player’s immediate surroundings. It is based on the principle of augmented reality.

Pokémon Map: Between landmarks and sights

Pokémon Go uses a Global Positioning System (GPS) to determine the player’s location and displays it on a map that also represents the playing field. The map is based on OpenStreetMap maps. The game is played mostly outdoors and uses landmarks, landmarks and other notable or eye-catching objects in the world to position either PokéStops or arenas there for you to battle for supremacy. Join either Team Intuition (Team Yellow, Zapdos), Team Wisdom (Team Blue, Arktos), or Team Daring (Team Red, Lavados). The developers at Niantic regularly provide Pokémon Go with new updates or special raids that should only be tackled in a group of several people. The Pokémon Go Raids are therefore very popular, as they also offer the prospect of particularly rare Pokémon. For example, in the past, legendary Pokémon could always be caught on special occasions (Pokémon Go events).
