The visual presentation is well done, but the jazzy soundtrack seems a bit out of place.

The smartly dressed guy with a pipe is supposedly the detective hunting down this gang of criminals, and he appears as a wild symbol in the game. The base game surprisingly doesn’t contain any features, so you basically grind until the bonus round is triggered. The sticky mystery symbol upgrade system is a nice extra, but it’s not really vibrant most of the time. Overall, the game remains kind of flat compared to what you’d expect at first glance.

It’s hard to see what’s so “great” about it in that sense, though 1,000x can be landed on a single spin (or 1,500x in the unlikely event you fill the screen with wilds).

In other words, you need the bonus round to do any real damage, and that’s the only way to crack the hard-limited 5,000x potential. All the entertainment value is basically contained in the bonus round, which adds extra delivery pressure. A lot depends on the number of sticky mystery symbols you collect and what upgrade level you reach. However, it’s not really a super entertaining feature most of the time, which makes this release a somewhat disappointing mediocrity.
