She describes her relationship with Kali, her “boss,” as an unbreakable sisterhood based on mutual respect.
In Nighthaven, she has found an organization where she can do what she wants and be recognized, and a circle of friends where she can be herself. Although she does not appreciate my work, I have expressed to her the hope that one day she will trust me as much as she does the others. I’ve also asked her if I can rent “The Empress of Plutomatoes” sometime…. Sounds like a good movie. And who knows? Maybe I can learn a thing or two.
