MOTHERSHIP DESCRIPTION
The Protoss Motherships are massive spacecraft developed centuries ago during the Protoss Golden Age of Expansion. As command ships, they would escort vast fleets of Protoss explorers into the dark depths of space and home safely. Those days are long gone. The remaining motherships later became Protoss sacred shrines, commemorating honorable existence and proud periods in Protoss history.
At the core of each mothership is a khaydarin crystal imbued with an almost immeasurable amount of psionic energy. Using this energy, the mothership can warp through space and time, or literally transcend them. In just moments, the devastating firepower of a mother ship can wipe out entire squadrons of enemy ships or completely devastate a planet. As the golden age reached its peak, the motherships were left as gigantic monuments in the farthest reaches of space explored by the protoss. It was believed that they would never have to be used again.
After the loss of Aiur, however, the motherships were recalled from the far reaches of the galaxy. Today, however, it is no longer mystics and historians who make up the crew of the ships, but warriors. The oldest and most powerful weapons of the Protoss have been revived, waiting to set the galaxy ablaze and avenge the loss of the Protoss homeworld.

PROTOSS
General Information
With their advanced technologies, the Protoss manage to spread fear and terror throughout the Starcraft universe. A variety of different combat robots, as well as some specially trained fighters who possess psi powers, are available to the Protoss in their battles against other forces. However, these also have their price, the training of fighters and upgrading with robots, not only devours vast amounts of resources, but also costs a lot of time.
The Protoss are considered the oldest and most developed race, but their old culture also has disadvantages. The Protoss naturally see themselves as autocrats and do not adapt to the new dangers, they remain in their rigid caste system and preserve the strict hierarchy in their culture at all costs.
