#ApexLegends Season 14 meta is about to be turned on its head once more with heavy changes to the weapons, Wingman is now using sniper ammo and spitfire becomes a light ammo weapon. For everyone wanting to get that free heirloom you now have a chance with the level cap being increased to 2800 with up to 544 free packs available, meaning a free heirloom after 500 packs are guaranteed. SMGs have moved in the meta as well with new laser sight attachment to increase hip-fire accuracy, making them much stronger up close.

Speaking of up close strength Eva-8 is significantly nerfed, with double tap hop up coming back and fire rate increased, will it be as OP as it once was? Only time will tell. Those who missed the Volt SMG can rejoice as it’s coming back from the care package together with Mastiff, while Rampage and Bocek are going into the care package. Skull piercer is making a comeback as well for Wingman, Longbow and for 30-30. Could 30-30 replace the wingman’s previous place?

When it comes to competitive and ranked there will be changes as well but most importantly competitive integrity is taking a step forward with the golden knockback shield self-rez being removed, it now has the same function as the golden backpack, whereas the golden backpack can now help you carry more stackable meds like batteries, medkits and phoenix kits. If you remember skull piercer you’ll certainly remember the skull town as well as it’s coming back as well replacing an area in King’s Canyon, it won’t look the same as it was but it certainly returns some of the nostalgia on top of the overall colour lightning changes with Season 14 #ApexLegends

Valkyrie is getting a deserved nerf with her ultimate flight height being reduced and VTOL jets being a bit slower, while New Castle and Mad Maggie are getting buffed and are now in a strong place against the Gibraltar meta
