Armies Call of Duty – 1st Reconnaissance Command

The 1st Reconnaissance Command was a unit of the US Armed Forces. The unit’s most famous battle was probably the invasion against Khaled Al-Asad, in which a great many soldiers were killed, including the majority of the 1st Recon Command. In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, the unit is mentioned in an indirect way. As it is later revealed, their commander-in-chief was General Shepherd.

Heroes Call of Duty –Davis (Black Ops)

Private Davis was an American Army helicopter pilot in the Vietnam War. In 1968, he was flying a helicopter that included Frank Woods and Alex Mason, but was shot down while flying over North Vietnam. When shot down, Davis died instantly, while his co-pilot was seriously injured. A Viet Cong then attacked the helicopter and killed the co-pilot as well.
