Multiplayer
The LSAT is unlocked at level 13. It has moderate recoil and an acceptable rate of fire, which makes it versatile. It is a solid weapon for any game mode and it is not difficult to handle. Still, there are some drawbacks, like the slow movement time or the long reload. You can at least compensate for the character’s ponderous behavior by using Lightweight.
You can use the weapon surprisingly well without any perks or attachments, which is important to unlock the Cherry Blossom or Warcraft camouflage. The time to go into the sights is relatively long, so you should have a handle ready for a quick draw.
If someone finds the rear sight too present in the screen, an optical attachment is a good choice. For a good and safe sight, one can consider a reflex sight or ED-Tech sight. However, if one wants to plead for range, one should think of an ACOG sight. The rangefinder is the best and most used attachment because it lights up enemies on the screen and additionally reduces recoil.
The full metal jacket bullet makes it easier to shoot through objects. However, this should not be combined with rapid fire because the range of the LSAT is lowered and the rate of fire is high anyway, which naturally increases the recoil. Although the grip is supposed to reduce recoil, this has been greatly reduced with patch 1.04 and the effects are only minimally noticeable.
The LSAT is the standard class 4 weapon, where it is equipped with a homing scope, full metal jacket bullet and quick draw grip. On the lower left side of the weapon is a counter that shows how many bullets are in the current magazine. This is useful in hardcore game modes, because there it’s really difficult to keep an eye on the ammo – in fact, it’s not displayed on the screen.
Survival
You can pull the LSAT on Nuketown Zombies and Mob of the Dead at the crate, and on Buried you can even buy it at the wall. By punching is the new name “FSIRT” (Which is a reference to “FIRST” and “LSAT” with “LAST.”) . As in multiplayer, the LSAT has a huge magazine and does high damage. These features are dragged down a bit by the long reload time. This makes Speed Cola a useful perk when you’re up to your neck in zombies. Because there is no stamin-up, you should switch to a lighter weapon to escape from zombies, because the mobility of the LSAT leaves something to be desired. Although the weapon does huge damage, it’s still not recommended to use it in close quarters combat, because it’s hard to keep a horde of zombies at bay, especially if you have to reload and then get overrun.
