The Uzi appears in the mission Payday in the hands of some Russian soldiers, in the clearing where
Mason lands the helicopter, and in some hideouts. Sometimes it has a magazine extension or an ACOG sight.
Multiplayer
The Uzi is unlocked at level 23 and has a high rate of fire, but does little damage, similar to the MPL and Spectre. Still, there are some important differences between the weapons. Technically, the Uzi has the biggest recoil of all the automatic weapons from the game and also very unusual rear sight, compared to other submachine guns. Along with the low damage at medium and long range, the Uzi loses any usefulness outside of close combat. Thanks to all these negative aspects, it is considered by many players to be one of the most difficult weapons in multiplayer, and therefore it is not often found. Despite all these facts, it has one advantage over the other weapons – its capacity. With 32 bullets in the magazine, it has the largest magazine of all submachine guns, along with the MPL; with the magazine extension, it even has 48 bullets, making it the front-runner. Its starter ammo is also beastly high, but you burn through it quickly thanks to the high rate of fire, and unlike the MPL, you can’t attach a double magazine.
As with all submachine guns, Lightweight is a good choice because you can get to your enemies faster and thus get into the painful area of the Uzi faster, namely close combat. Nimbleness should also be used because the reload animation, especially when the magazine is empty, is not exactly fast for its class.
For the Uzi, however, you can also think about Warlord because it is a weapon that simply depends extremely on attachments if you want to use it. A grip and red dot sight will make sure you increase your range and see a bit more when sighting in, while the magazine extension or rapid-fire will make sure you kill faster. But if you want to buy attachments for more accurate weapons, you can also switch to the Scorpion or the MAC-11. The grip increases the speed of the Uzi, but because of the already high recoil, the small effect of this attachment is rather questionable.
For everything to go well, you should rely on the Uzi’s greatest strength; accurate hip fire in close combat, which also saves you a sight. Thanks to the high recoil and obscure sights, Calm Hand is a good choice to increase the effectiveness in close combat without necessarily having to go for the sights. Pairing Calm Hand with the magazine extension means you don’t have to reload as often and can take down more than one enemy in a short period of time.
Although the Uzi naturally has a lot of ammo, it is significantly weaker than other submachine guns, and the obscure sights only reinforce this fact. While the Uzi is strong when firing from the hip, the Spectre and the MPL do the same damage while being usable at longer ranges due to less recoil, plus the sights are clearer on both weapons. So overall, the Uzi is not as strong as the other submachine guns.

Survival fight
The Uzi can be bought in the Survival Battle on the map Mob of the Dead for 1500 points on the wall. It has 25 bullets in the magazine and 275 more bullets in reserve. It is a solid choice in medium rounds thanks to its high rate of fire and plenty of ammo, which you can even rebuy if needed. If you punch it, the new name is “Uncle Gal”.
