Transportable repair robots, mechanical pets or the popular flying machine are just a few examples of the versatility of the profession. However, the variety of recipes and required materials is so large that it is easy to lose track of them. This guide should help you learn this profession as stress-free as possible up to a skill of 450.
Mining is a good side job, so you can mine the needed materials yourself and save a lot of gold.
Apprentice (1 – 75)
If you want to learn the profession of an engineer at the beginning of your hero career, visit a capital of your faction and let the city guards show you the way. Only in Darnassus and Thunder Bluff you will search in vain for teachers of the craft guild. Tüftelwiz (Horde) have settled in Ratschet and Jenna Lemkenilli in Auberdine.

Master (300-375)
To increase your skills beyond 300, you must enter the Heavy World. Alliance players seek out Lebowski in Honor Hold, K. Lee Kleinfrey in Telredor, or Niobe Sparkspur in Wildhammer Hold. Members of the Horde report to Zebig in Thrallmar, Mack Dyver in Zabra’jin, or Jonathan Garret in Shadowmoon for lessons. Xyrol in Area 52 offers his teaching services to both Alliance and Horde.

World of Warcraft Classic is a true recreation of the original WoW as you know it from 2006. All parts of the game – from combat mechanics and talent trees to character models and zones – have been recreated, contributing to the authentic experience.
Getting Started
All players with an active World of Warcraft subscription or game time on their accounts have access toWoW Classic at no additional cost.
- Open the Blizzard Battle.net Desktop App and select World of Warcraft from the menu.
- Select World of Warcraft Classic from the Version menu. If you have more than one World of Warcraft account, you’ll see a second Account drop-down list. In this column, select the active account you want to play with.
- Click the Install button. The progress bar will tell you when your game is ready to play.
- Click the Play button when the installation is complete.
You will need to select the realm you want to play on from several different realm types. Make sure you choose the same realm as your friends – in World of Warcraft Classic, you can only group with characters that are on the same realm as you!
