The new skills

With the WoW expansion Cataclysm , your warrior can finally level up to the new maximum level of 85. In this way, you will learn three new skills from the teacher that we have only been able to marvel at in the magic book and on the beta server:

Unleash Elements – Level 81:

Instant – 15 second cooldown Focuses and unleashes

the elemental power bound within the Shaman’s weapons. The concentrated effect is the same as the unleashed enchantment. The details of the unleash effects are recorded in the tooltips of the respective weapon enchantments.

Unleash Life : Heals the target for a small amount and increases the effect of the caster’s next heal done by 20%.

Conclusion: Every opportunity to increase your own healing spells is always a good thing. Thanks to the low cooldown, the new ability will become a frequently used guest in your playstyle. So familiarize yourself with Unleash Elements as soon as possible.

Healing Rain – Level 83:

2 sec cast – 10 sec cooldown

Calls down showers of healing rain over the targeted area. Restores 1826 health to allies within the area every 2 sec for 10 sec. If there are more than 6 players in this area, each additional player reduces the effectiveness of the healing.

Conclusion: An area healing, with which you heal your allies over a period of ten seconds, is certainly a welcome addition to your healing portfolio. The Healing Rain benefits from critical strike rating and haste rating, and can trigger ancestral healing from critical hits. The individual healings also have the ability to generate spirits. Unfortunately, the new spell consumes a lot of mana points, so you only use the rain in particularly critical situations.

Spiritwalker’s Favor – Level 85:

Instant – 2 min cooldown

A call for spiritual guidance allows the shaman to move while casting spells with cast time. This spell can be cast while other spells are being cast. Lasts 10 seconds.

Conclusion: Sport is murder, says a well-known proverb. At least for the general “movement” this can also apply in Azeroth if you don’t get enough healing due to all the running around and your comrades-in-arms fall over. That’s over now: thanks be to the spiritwalker’s favor. At least every two minutes you cast all spells while moving.

Shaman – Patch Notes for WoW Patch 4.0.6 (German)

Chain Heal’s effectiveness has been increased by approximately 10%.
Flametongue Weapon procs now deal approximately 20% less damage.
Healing Rain now has a range of 40 yards (increased from 30 yards) to match other Shaman spells.
Hex now has an 8 second duration in PvP.
Purify now dispels a single effect instead of two.
Spiritwalker’s Favor duration increased from 10 to 15 seconds.
Quake Totem has been redesigned. The totem can now be used while fear, charm, or sleep effects are in effect and pulses much faster, but only lasts 6 seconds and has a 1 minute cooldown.
Windfury Weapon’s effect can now trigger 3 additional attacks, increased from 2.

elemental combat

Earthquake damage has been increased by approximately 10%.
Lightning Bolt or Chain Lightning spells triggered by Elemental Overload (Mastery) can now generate stacks of Rolling Thunder.
Lava Burst damage has been increased by approximately 10%.

reinforcement

Flametongue Weapon damage now scales with attack power instead of spell power (for Enhancement Shaman only).
Purify’s mana cost is no longer reduced by Mental Quickness.

Restoration

Cleansing Waters’ healing effect no longer triggers twice when a cast removes both a magic and a curse effect at the same time.
Deep Heal (Mastery) increased from 2.5% to 3% per point.
Earth Shield can no longer be dispelled.
Greater Healing Wave mana cost increased by 10% and healing done increased by 20%.
The Mana Tide Totem has been redesigned. The totem no longer multiplies the willpower of targets. Instead, the totem grants a fixed bonus equal to 400% of the caster’s Spirit. Temporary willpower buffs applied while the totem is deployed are excluded from the calculation. Additionally, its effects are now raid-wide.

glyphs

Glyph of Hex now reduces cooldown by 10 seconds instead of 15.

Bug Fixes: Shaman

Ancestral Resolve now properly reduces the damage of Chaos Bolt.
Earthquake’s mana cost is now properly reduced by Elemental Focus clearcasting.
Elemental Oath now properly increases the damage of Earthquake.
While in Ghost Wolf Form, the player’s movement speed can no longer be reduced below 100% if the player was or is in an indoor environment.
Healing Rain’s casting process should no longer be canceled when a low-level player or NPC is in the area of effect.
Reincarnation can now properly be used after the Shaman has already been revived by Soulstone or Rebirth during a boss fight.

Bug Fixes: Glyphs

Elemental Mastery tooltip now updates when using Glyph of Elemental Mastery.
The Ghost Wolf buff icon now updates when using Glyph of Ghost Wolf.
Grounding Totem’s tooltip now updates when using Glyph of Grounding Totem.
Healing Stream Totem’s tooltip now updates when using Glyph of Healing Stream Totem to show the additional 25 magic resistance it grants.
Healing Wave tooltip now updates when using Glyph of Healing Wave.

What is WoW Classic?

World of Warcraft Classic is a true recreation of the original WoW as you know it from 2006. All parts of the game – from combat mechanics and talent trees to character models and zones – have been recreated, contributing to the authentic experience.

Getting Started

All players with an active World of Warcraft subscription or game time on their accounts have access toWoW Classic at no additional cost.

Open the Blizzard Battle.net Desktop App and select World of Warcraft from the menu.
Select World of Warcraft Classic from the Version menu. If you have more than one World of Warcraft account, you’ll see a second Account drop-down list. In this column, select the active account you want to play with.
Click the Install button. The progress bar will tell you when your game is ready to play.
Click the Play button when the installation is complete.

You will need to select the realm you want to play on from several different realm types. Make sure you choose the same realm as your friends – in World of Warcraft Classic, you can only group with characters that are on the same realm as you!
