WoW Guide: The Oculus

The entrance portal to the second instance in Coldarra is located in the middle of Borean Island, exactly one floor above the entrance to the Nexus.

The stone that you can use to summon your party members can be found at the entrance to The Nexus instance. Before entering the Oculus, first visit Raelorasz at the Transitus Shield, who will give you the quest The Battle Continues.

The group fights through at the beginning.

* Blue dragon heads and a lot of whelps. Their arcane bolts are annoying, so they should be quickly destroyed by your damage dealers.

At the end of the path you will find a portal that will lead you to the first boss. After defeating Drakos and freeing Belgaristrasz, take the follow-up quest “United Front”. The centrifuge constructs and the boss Varos Cloudstrider must be defeated. You will find yourself on floating platforms. For this reason, Belgaristrasz, Verdisa and Eternos lend you dragons from their swarms.

* Belgaristrasz entrusts you with a red dragon. It will later serve as a tank dragon, as it has special dodging abilities.

* Verdisa gives you the Green Dragon. It poisons enemies, heals itself and can later heal other dragons.

* Eternos of the Bronze Dragonflight is a master of damage. His dragons shock enemies with lightning bolts, they can stop time for 10 seconds and later distribute a powerful damage debuff to enemies.

As long as players ride the dragon, character class and equipment do not matter. A suitable party composition is only useful for the final boss, Eregos. By the way, you can exchange your dragon at any time with the three NPCs.

Once you have summoned your riding wyrm with the item you received, head to the two floating platforms. Try to stay together and slay the blue dragons that flutter around the flying islands at close range. Areas after.

* Focus on the groups consisting of three centrifuge constructs and a ringlord summoner. Kill the summoner first, then the groups on the first two platforms.

* Continue flying to the inner ring and destroy the remaining four constructs. They are guarded by wizards, which you will take out of the fight with enemy-controlling abilities, otherwise they will do a lot of damage with their flame blasts.

* In the third floating round, Varo’s Cloud Rider is waiting for you. However, first kill the dragons that are parked too close to the platform so they don’t accidentally join the fight.

Once you fly to Varos to the islands arranged around the center and Magelord Urom attacks, he will summon four enemies and disappear. Kill the quartet and fly to the next island.

* In the animal group, target the Cloud Ripper first for its Chain Lightning and the Mammoth.

* In the elemental group, prioritize the wind whirlwinds because they cast a whirlwind on the caster classes. Then take care of the fire elementals.

* In the mixed group with ogres and murlocs, you should kill the great warriors first.

Before flying to the Ley-Guardian Eregos on the top platform after fighting Urom, you can buff the dragons of the party members with Blessing of Kings, Mark of the Wild or Prayer of Valor. If you want to save repair costs, fly your heroes to Eregos unclothed.

Getting Started

All players with an active World of Warcraft subscription or game time on their accounts have access toWoW Classic at no additional cost.

1. Open the Blizzard Battle.net Desktop App and select World of Warcraft from the menu.
2. Select World of Warcraft Classic from the Version menu. If you have more than one World of Warcraft account, you’ll see a second Account drop-down list. In this column, select the active account you want to play with.
3. Click the Install button. The progress bar will tell you when your game is ready to play.
4. Click the Play button when the installation is complete.

You will need to select the realm you want to play on from several different realm types. Make sure you choose the same realm as your friends – in World of Warcraft Classic, you can only group with characters that are on the same realm as you!
