Blizzard’s graphic designers have created some of the best class sets for the Burning Crusade era of World of Warcraft – at least that’s our opinion. In this article, we’ll show you our highlights of the Tier 4, 5, and 6 armors.
It’s a shame, really: as great as many of the class tier sets in WoW Classic look, they are the rarest of choices for many classes and specializations. Take the Warrior tier sets, for example, which were designed primarily for tanks and even for tanks – thanks to the Fury Prot meta and the rather easy difficulty – are really only the best choice in certain fights.
With the launch of WoW : Burning Crusade Classic, we will soon have another opportunity to earn some of the best class sets in WoW history. And since there will be sets for all specs this time, we should also see some of the fancy armor in action more often (although there are exceptions thanks to the powerful profession gear (like tailor sets)).

The – for us – most beautiful class pet sets of the TBC era
It starts with the tier 5 and tier 6 priest sets. You can’t get much smarter at creating health or skinning the spirit of enemies.
What is WoW Classic?
World of Warcraft Classic is a true recreation of the original WoW as you know it from 2006. All parts of the game – from combat mechanics and talent trees to character models and zones – have been recreated, contributing to the authentic experience.
Getting Started
All players with an active World of Warcraft subscription or game time on their accounts have access toWoW Classic at no additional cost.
- Open the Blizzard Battle.net Desktop App and select World of Warcraft from the menu.
- Select World of Warcraft Classic from the Version menu. If you have more than one World of Warcraft account, you’ll see a second Account drop-down list. In this column, select the active account you want to play with.
- Click the Install button. The progress bar will tell you when your game is ready to play.
- Click the Play button when the installation is complete.
You will need to select the realm you want to play on from several different realm types. Make sure you choose the same realm as your friends – in World of Warcraft Classic, you can only group with characters that are on the same realm as you!
