#ApexLegends New Heirlooms Has A Major Problem… and with the new Prestige skins getting dive trails and that removed from ranked the problem lies in the new entry cost into ranked games. Previously, the RP (or Ranked Points) you’d wager to compete scaled with each rank. So did the amount of RP you needed to climb into each higher rank—the gap between Silver and Gold was 2400 RP, but the gap between Gold and Platinum was 2800, and so on. The trend continued, making it more and more challenging to get to each new rank, but that’s the way climbing should be. It’s like grinding XP in an MMO: higher-level enemies give you way more XP, but that means the gap between levels needs to get bigger to accommodate that.
