FIFA Pro Ryan puts together an efficient Ultimate Team for little coins, so that you can start successfully in the German Bundesliga.
It’s quite something to put together your first Ultimate Team in a new FIFA game, and inFIFA 22 there’s plenty of opportunity for a new formation right at the start. One league where we often found success at the beginning is the German Bundesliga. If you find one or more strong Bundesliga players in your starting packs, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to build the rest of the team around them.
” It pays to invest a few more coins in the attack “
“Ideally, you’re aiming for a balanced team, but it pays to invest a few more coins in attack,” says Ryan Pessoa. “In FIFA 22’s Bundesliga, there are a lot of young players who are eligible for this. A great example is Dutch striker Donyell Malen, who plays for Borussia Dortmund this – Season . Because of his agility and precise ball control, he can cause decent problems in an early-game defense.”
Below we present you with a solid selection for a new starter team. Some players are not cheap – Maxence Lacroix as an example – but all of them will serve you well.

Angelino (LAV, 83) – RB Leipzig, Spaniard.
The former Manchester City player is bound to become a “fodder” in Squad Building Challenges over the next few months, but now shortly after release he stands out for his versatility. At 78 in speed, he’s rather out of place as a left-back, but using Custom Tactics he cuts a very good figure as a left midfielder in a 4-3-3 formation.

Donyell Malen (ST, 80) – Borussia Dortmund, Dutchman
At the beginning, the best strikers – such as Erling Haaland – cost a fortune. Donyell Malen’s speed makes him a good alternative to the superstars of the German Bundesliga. Although he’s only rated at 80, he’s great for overrunning slow defenses with counterattacks.
Emre Can (ZM, 82) – Borussia Dortmund, German.
Leon Goretzka will be highly coveted with his 80+ rating, but the Bayern Munich player will be unaffordable in the early months. Emre Can can’t quite keep up in terms of stats, but 78 overall is hardly worse than 80. Plus, he’s tall and physically strong, so he’s the best option for central midfield to start with.
Filip Kostić (LM, 84) – Eintracht Frankfurt, Serbian
Leroy Sané and Kingsley Coman will be outside the affordability for most players. This is where Filip Kostić comes in as an efficient alternative. With a speed of 88, strong dribbling and passing, he is an accomplished midfielder. In the first few weeks, his finishing strength is also enough for a goal or two.
Jerome Roussillon (LV, 77) – Wolfsburg, French.
Wolfsburg’s Roussillon is an excellent alternative to the 82-rated Alphonso Davies in left defense, who will remain exceedingly expensive in the first few weeks.
Jude Bellingham (ZM, 79) – Borussia Dortmund, English.
Bellingham will have great cards in the future, currently his rare gold card stands at 79 – for that he is comfortable throughout the midfield. At the moment his shooting ability is shaky, but next – Season he could get an early Team of the Week item due to his continued strong run and move up in price, so you’ll make a tidy profit.
Konrad Laimer (ZDM, 81) – RB Leipzig, Austrian.
Laimer is perfect for keeping the central defensive midfield of your starter team clean. The Austrian RB Leipzig player has good stats in all major categories and is also quick enough to intercept passes and mix the ball in with the attacking players quickly.

Manuel Akanji (IV, 80) – Borussia Dortmund, Swiss.
While not as fast as Maxence Lacroix, Akanji is still a good choice as a center back. If he is used, it would be beneficial to use one of Dortmund’s Swiss goalkeepers as well to help Akanji’s position in the hybrid team with the Nations Link.
Marwin Hitz (TH, 78) – Borussia Dortmund, Swiss.
Hitz is Dortmund’s keeper alongside Roman Burki. Burki has a slight edge with an 80 rating, but in return Hitz is 5cm taller and pretty much his equal in all important aspects. If you can do without a rare Gold Keeper, Hitz is the first choice.
Maxence Lacroix (IV, 79) – Wolfsburg, Frenchman
With Lucas Hernandez playing at left-back this – Season , it’s time for his compatriot Lacroix to take the reins of the defense. Unfortunately, Lacroix’s incredible speed will make him more expensive than all of his colleagues here. Still, you can hardly line up the central defense any better at the start.
Nico Schulz (LV, 77) – Borussia Dortmund, German.
Nobody wants a non-rare card in their team, even at the start, but Nico Schulz is an exception. He’s quick enough to do his job in left defense, and he costs a fraction compared to Rousillon or Davies. This also leaves you with a few coins to spend on more critical positions.
