We have almost reached the middle of the first Valorant episode and Riot has delivered us a new skin collection and some agent changes. Let’s see what changes this time!
It may not be the most significant update in Valorant history, but it’s still worth a look. New skin collection, light buff for Viper, a little help for Jett-Mains and no more penalties for leaving a deathmatch. In short, it seems like Valorant Patch 3.07 is all about making the game prettier and more consistent. Let’s see what Riot has changed in Valorant Patch 3.07.
Valorant Patch 3.07: RGX 11Z Pro Skins
This is the new skin collection with associated new mechanics. At the bottom of each weapon you will find a counter that shows the number of kills you have achieved with that skin in your entire career. Anyone who has ever played CS:GO knows this. Basically, these skins are the equivalent of the StatTrak mechanic from CS:GO. The name of the new collection is “RGX 11Z Pro Skins”, and since that’s not really catchy, they’ll probably just be called “StatTrak Skins” in the future.
The RGX 11Z Pro Collection includes the following weapons:
- Guardian
- Vandal
- Frenzy
- Stinger
- Melee (Katana)
- They also come in four variants:
- Green
- Blue
- Yellow
- Red
The cost for the entire RGX 11Z package is 8,700 Valorant Points. Those who only want individual skins will pay 2,175 VPs for the guns and 4,350 VPs for the Katana.
Valorant Patch 3.07: Agent Changes
Valorant Patch 3.07 shouldn’t really change anything in the meta, but we do have two small agent changes, both of which are buffs. And honestly, Viper and Jett Mains should be pretty happy with them.
Viper
- When agents sail through Viper’s wall at airy heights, they now receive instant decay.
Previously, agents like Jett or Raze could not be damaged when jumping over the Toxic Screen (Ability E), even if they only lightly touched the wall. However, this will change from now on, making Viper’s wall even better since there is now no blatant counter against it.
Jett
- Jett’s “Blade Storm” Kunai now recharge when she kills a training dummy or disarms a training bot.
Does this change anything in ranked play? No, but it does make practice much easier for all Jett Mains.
Valorant Patch 3.07: Deathmatch penalties
Last but not least, Valorant Patch 3.07 brings changes to the deathmatch system. From now on, we will no longer receive penalties for leaving a deathmatch game.
- There are no more penalties when a player leaves the deathmatch early
- In order to receive XP, you have to participate in the entire game.

How to get skins in Valorant
Everyone uses the same weapons in Valorant, but that doesn’t mean every weapon has to look the same. After all, you’re going to spend a lot of time looking at your weapon, so looking at it might as well be.
Fortunately, the folks at Riot have the perfect solution for players who need to look good while shooting enemies. Skins are cosmetic add-ons that can change the physical appearance of a weapon, as well as animations and audio effects.

How do I get skins in Valorant?
Unlike other popular multi-shooter games, Valorant doesn’t have any special skins to change and customize the look of the agent – at least for now. What they do offer is a collection of skins that can change and improve the way weapons look and feel while playing the game.
They don’t necessarily improve your gameplay, but sometimes looking good is enough to win a match, right?
Spend real money
This is possibly the easiest way to get the weapon skin you want but don’t have the time to unlock. Valorant Points or VP is the premium currency used in the game to unlock agents, skins, and more from the in-game store.
Here is an example of converting real money to VP on the North American server:
- $4.99 – 475 VP, no bonus VP, 475 VP total.
- $9.99 – 950 VP, 50 bonus VP, 1000 VP total
- $19.99 – 1900 VP, 150 bonus VP, 2050 total
- $34.99 – 3325 VP, 325 bonus VP, 3650 total
- $49.99 – 4750 VP, 600 bonus VP, 5350 total
- 99 $ – 9500 VP, 1500 bonus VP, 11000 total
As a frame of reference, Valorant Store Featured Collections are around 7,100 VP. Individual weapon skins are slightly less expensive and generally range from 1,775 VP to 4,350 VP each, with melee weapon skins at the higher end of the price scale.
Before you start searching for weapon skins, you should know that featured bundles change every few weeks and individual skin deals change every 24 hours. So what you see today may not be what you see tomorrow.
