Heroes (Dota 2)
The heroines and heroes (original: “Heroes”) are the primary playable entities in DotA and Dota 2. In a game, each player takes control of one of the 112 playable heroines and heroes. Each hero and heroine is a character with different attributes, abilities and roles. Each heroine and hero can also be categorized by the default attacks, which happen either in melee or ranged attacks.
Valve plans to develop their own heroines and heroes for Dota 2 after the release of the classic heroines and heroes from DotA Allstars, as Erik Johnson previously announced in a 2014 interview. After the release of Arc Warden in December 2015 and that of Underlord in August 2016, the first hero developed exclusively for Dota 2, Monkey King, appeared in winter 2016, although it was at least based on concepts from classic DotA and appeared there as an event boss opponent. The Dueling Fates update announced in August 2017 confirmed the release of two completely redesigned heroes.
Clinkz: “Clink goes my bones.”
Clinkz, the Bone Fletcher, is an agility hero from DotA and Dota 2. As an archer, Clinkz is a ranged Dire unit designed to take down his opponents as quickly as possible from ambush. In the game, he can take on the role of a Carry and Escaper. Strafe temporarily massively increases Clinkz’s attack speed, and Searing Arrows lets him set enemies on fire with his arrows. Clinkz can choose to light every arrow, single arrows, or no arrows on an attack. He can switch between these modes at any time. His third ability, Skeleton Walk, also allows him to be the only archer in the game to disguise himself and temporarily become invisible. Clinkz can use his Ultimate Death Pact to increase his own health and damage by consuming any creep. Depending on the creep’s current health count, Clinkz’s additional damage and health are transferred in a percentage ratio for 35 seconds. Aghanim’s Scepter does not improve Clinkz’s Ultimate.

When Clinkz sneaks invisibly across the battlefield, no one is immune from being ambushed. He is equally fast on foot and with the bow and brings a fiery death to his opponents. After that, he sucks new life force from the creatures of the forest and prepares for the next attack.
Clinkz- Biography
“At the foot of the Bleeding Hills stretches a thousand leagues of forest, a place called Hoven, where the tarry blood of the highlands gathers in black pools and the gracious King Mage Sutherex reigns. Once a sworn protector of the lands of Hoven, Clinkz made a name for himself because of his skill with the bow. In the King Mage’s three hundredth year, the demon Maraxiform rose from the sixth hell to claim the forest for his own. In response, the King Mage cast an unbreakable spell: He who would slay the demon would be granted life without end.
Unaware of the spell, Clinkz went into battle to defend his lands against the demon’s burning onslaught. Clinkz pushed Maraxiform back to the gates of the sixth hell, at whose fiery threshold the two locked in mortal combat. Badly wounded, the demon unleashed a storm of hellfire as Clinkz shot his final arrow. The arrow hit its target and fire poured across the land, igniting the black pools and burning Clinkz alive at the very moment the demon died. Thus, the mage’s spell took effect at the very moment the archer was on fire, trapping him in that terrible state. Left behind was a being of bone and fury, trapped in death, carrying the breath of hell with it on its journey to eternity.”
