We have already discussed all the rifles, sniper rifles and SMGs. The next class of weapons we’ll cover are sidearms. Are pistols only useful in eco mode? Definitely not, but you will often be at a disadvantage against some of the more expensive weapons. The Frenzy is an excellent choice at close range. Here’s a quick look at the weapon’s stats:
- Frenzy rate of fire: 10 rounds/sec.
- Frenzy Magazine: 13 rounds
- Frenzy penetration: Low
- Frenzy reload time: 1.5 seconds
You only need to take a quick look at the Frenzy to realize that it was inspired by the CZ75 Auto, an automatic pistol from CS:GO. The Frenzy not only looks like the CZ, but it behaves like it as well. Much like the CZ, the Frenzy has an insanely high rate of fire, a low magazine capacity, and it’s only effective at short to medium range.
Frenzy Damage
The Sheriff is the pistol in Valorant that hits the hardest, but the Frenzy is the one with the fastest rate of fire. Which is better? That’s hard to say, and it really depends on your play style and the situation at hand. The Frenzy can melt most enemies at close range, regardless of the weapon you use.
- 0m-20m: Body 26/Head 78/Legs 22
- 20m-50m: body 21/head 63/legs17
The damage drop isn’t that bad, but the base damage is. For a quick kill, you’ll often need to land a few bullets to the head. If you aim for the legs or body, you’ll often need almost a whole magazine. This means you’ll have to reload right after, which makes you vulnerable if a second enemy shows up (and this happens often).
As we have seen, the Frenzy’s damage is not that great and it also has a low penetrating power. The only big advantage of the sidearm is the high rate of fire, but that also comes at a price.
Frenzy recoil
If you look at the picture above, you’ll quickly realize that it’s often a bad idea to spray with the Frenzy when the enemy isn’t bouncing around in front of your face. Empty your full magazine only when an enemy is in close proximity, in any other case you should try to fire in short bursts.
Frenzy Price
Another thing that the Frenzy has to offer besides its high rate of fire is its price. For 450 credits, this sidearm is often a better choice than any other pistol when it comes to post-fight action.
Conclusion
In its essence, the Frenzy is a high-risk, low-reward weapon that can shave anyone who gets too close to you. Unfortunately, it fails at almost everything else. This makes it very situational and requires a certain playstyle. If you’re the patient type and like to wait around corners, then you should definitely give her a try.

What is Valorant?
Valorant initially appears to be a cross between CS:Go and Overwatch . A competitive shooter where two small teams compete against each other.
Your team is either ready to attack or defend, with the attackers placing a “stinger” (essentially a bomb) that the other team must then defuse or preferably prevent you from placing at all.
The attacking team can win by either eliminating the defenders or placing the stinger and then protecting it from defusing until the timer runs out. The defenders can similarly win by destroying the attackers before they have a chance to plant their stinger, or disarming the stinger after it has been planted.
Each team of five can play as both attackers and defenders during a game. Each game has a total of 25 rounds, with the first team to win 13 rounds declared the winner
