Players in Pokémon Go have already gotten a taste of the Battle League. Those who want to diligently climb in rank, however, must put in miles. At least the first battles at rank 1 are free. We’ll show you what rewards await you for rated PvP in Pokémon Go.
The Pokémon Go Battle League is now playable. You can find all the information about the structure and the rules in this article: Pokémon Go: Go Battle League launches this week – here’s how. Here we show you how the interface looks like, how you can find battles and what you can win for successful trainers. You can see all the pictures in the image gallery below.
When you press the Pokéball, you will see the item “Battles” in the menu. Here you can now challenge trainers at the bottom of “Battles”. If you swipe to the right, you can assemble your team as usual. The “Teams” tab has now disappeared from the old menu (when you swipe to the left in your Pokémon storage).
Battle and rank rewards
Before the battle you need to select your league. Currently, the Super League is active. This means that only Pokémon with a maximum of 1,500 CP can compete. The battle against other trainers will then proceed as usual. Already from 3 victories there are rewards: 300 stardust, berries and a special candy. For 4 victories, a Pokémon appears and from 5, there’s another 600 dust.
Which Pokémon appears depends on your rank. At the beginning we had the chance to get Machollo, Relaxo, Floink, Serpifeu or Ottaro. There is another 2,000 dust for rank advancement. After five games and four seigen, we moved up to rank 2. For further rewards you have to cover 5KM. If you scroll down further in the battle menu, you’ll find the QR code function, which allows you to fight against friends when you meet face-to-face in real life. If you’d rather train first, you can select one of the team leaders below and test your teams.

Pokémon GO
Pokémon Go is the mobile spin-off of Nintendo’s popular Pokémon game series for Android and iOS. It is a so-called “location-based game”, i.e. a game that uses the player’s immediate surroundings. It is based on the principle of augmented reality.
Pokémon Map: Between landmarks and sights
Pokémon Go uses a Global Positioning System (GPS) to determine the player’s location and displays it on a map that also represents the playing field. The map is based on OpenStreetMap maps. The game is played mostly outdoors and uses landmarks, landmarks and other notable or eye-catching objects in the world to position either PokéStops or arenas there for you to battle for supremacy. Join either Team Intuition (Team Yellow, Zapdos), Team Wisdom (Team Blue, Arktos), or Team Daring (Team Red, Lavados). Under their flag you can then fight for the arenas, which are placed at hotspots like churches or similar. Pokémon can appear anywhere, though.
Pocket monsters visible on the Pokémon Go Map are randomly loaded into the game’s virtual map by the game server. If several players are playing in the same location, each player can see and catch the Pokémon independently of the others.
Pokémon Go Updates, News, Raids and More
The developers at Niantic regularly provide Pokémon Go with new updates or special raids that should only be tackled in a group of several people. The Pokémon Go Raids are therefore very popular, as they also offer the prospect of particularly rare Pokémon. For example, in the past, legendary Pokémon could always be caught on special occasions (Pokémon Go events). For particularly eager mobile or smartphone Pokémon trainers, there is also an external IV calculator, such as the online tool from Pokemon.gameinfo.io or on Pokefans.net, to check the values of your Pokémon.
