PoGO – Pokémon Go: Mega Bisaflor in the Raid - Counter Guide

After a little breather, Mega Bisaflor is coming back to Pokémon Go Raids. If you haven’t unlocked Mega Evolution yet, take the opportunity starting January 19, 2021 to activate Mega Bisaflor and use it as a formidable Raid Boss counter. We have updated our counter guide for Mega Bisaflor for you.

Update from January 8, 2021: After Mega Bisaflor was forced to take a break in Pokémon Go’s Mega Raids, it will be back from 10:00 a.m. on January 19, 2021. The developers at Niantic probably decided on the breather because far too many Mega Pokémon could appear in the Raids in the meantime.

Well, since the release of Mega Bisaflor, a few more Mega Pokémon have entered the game, and that’s why in this counter guide you’ll find our current recommendation of the pocket monsters that do best in battle with Mega Bisaflor. Remember that you need to defeat Mega Bisaflor at least once to use its Mega evolution in other Raid battles.

Original news from August 31, 2020: the developers of Pokémon Go have unlocked Mega Evolutions in the game. With this, a new category of Raids has also been implemented, the Mega Raids. In these raids, you will find particularly strong Pokémon that you can catch in their actual form after a victory – not in their mega evolution! Therefore, some information in this guide refers to the “normal” version of the pocket monster and not to the Mega version, such as the CP values for a perfect 100% IV value.

Mega Bisaflor, Mega Glurak X and Y, and Mega Turtok can be seen at the beginning of the Mega Raids in Pokémon Go, and we will give you an overview of the useful counters for the fight against Mega Bisaflor in this guide. We wish you a lot of fun and good luck with your raids!

Pokémon Go: Mega-Bisaflor as a raid boss

Mega-Bisaflor is actually not much different than a standard Bisaflor, except that it deals considerably more damage and also takes a lot more. Since Mega Bisaflor is a Plant Pokémon, Psycho and Fire Pokémon are especially suited for Mega Raid battles. Two trainers with good Psycho Punch Mewtu can defeat Mega Bisaflor no matter what the weather. Or they can use highly leveled Fire Mon, though this will be more difficult if you can’t use a Mega Pokémon. If you want to play it safe, go into battle with four to seven trainers against Mega Bisaflor.

Mega Bisaflor is boosted in sunny and cloudy weather, but you only really need to worry if the sun is beating down and Mega Bisaflor has the Solar Beam charge attack, which really packs a punch. The charge attack Mud Bomb (Poison type) can also pack a punch. Since the attack also has two charge bars, it can hurt, but mostly Fairy and Plant Pokémon, which you don’t want to use in this fight anyway. Pokémon Go: Catch Mega Bisaflor

As already mentioned, you will not catch Mega Bisaflor after a victory, but a normal Bisaflor. If you have successfully completed the battle against Mega Bisaflor, the freestyle follows after the duty and you have the chance to banish the pocket monster into your Pokéball. Bisaflor will then have 1,554 CP at level 20 with 100% IV values. If Bisaflor is boosted to level 25 in sunny or cloudy weather, it will have 1,943 CP with perfect 100% IV values. Pokémon Go is the mobile spin-off of Nintendo’s popular Pokémon game series for Android and iOS. It is a so-called “location-based game”, i.e. a game that uses the player’s immediate surroundings. It is based on the principle of augmented reality.

Pokémon Map: Between landmarks and sights

Pokémon Go uses a Global Positioning System (GPS) to determine the player’s location and displays it on a map that also represents the playing field. The map is based on OpenStreetMap maps. The game is played mostly outdoors and uses landmarks, landmarks and other notable or eye-catching objects in the world to position either PokéStops or arenas there for you to battle for supremacy. Join either Team Intuition (Team Yellow, Zapdos), Team Wisdom (Team Blue, Arktos), or Team Daring (Team Red, Lavados).
