Pokémon Go’s revamped Mega evolution has been active worldwide since April 29, 2022, and Mega Kangama shows up in Pokémon Go for the first time! Mega Raids have long been a negative topic among trainers – but Niantic has now stepped up and made Mega Evolution much more interesting. Pokémon Go: Mega-Kangama as Raid Boss
Mega-Kangama is of the Normal monotype and therefore has only one weakness: battle. So pack your strongest battle attackers into the team and check the weather report in Pokémon Go – if the sky is overcast, your battle attackers deal a lot more damage!
With the overhaul of Mega Evolution and everything related to it, you’ll notice that Mega Raids are much easier to pull off. Mega-Kangama faces you with a value of 37,140 CP – you can already see, it’s significantly less competition points than you’re used to from Mega Raids. At a high level and with the perfect counters, Kangama is doable by two Pokémon Go players, otherwise you’ll have to team up with a few other trainers.

Pokémon Go: Catch Mega Kangama
Once you have won the battle against Mega Kangama, it loses its Mega powers! Keep in mind that you are not catching Mega Kangama, but a Kangama. Kangama, like its Mega evolution, is of Normal type and has a value of 1477 CP at level 20 with 100% IV values. If Kangama is boosted to level 25 on a cloudy day, it has 1847 CP at perfect 100% IV values. We wish you much success!

Pokémon Go is the mobile spin-off of Nintendo’s popular Pokémon game series for Android and iOS. It is a so-called “location-based game”, i.e. a game that uses the player’s immediate surroundings. It is based on the principle of augmented reality.
Pokémon Map: Between landmarks and sights
Pokémon Go uses a Global Positioning System (GPS) to determine the player’s location and displays it on a map that also represents the playing field. The map is based on OpenStreetMap maps. The game is played mostly outdoors and uses landmarks, landmarks and other notable or eye-catching objects in the world to position either PokéStops or arenas there for you to battle for supremacy. Join either Team Intuition (Team Yellow, Zapdos), Team Wisdom (Team Blue, Arktos), or Team Daring (Team Red, Lavados). Under their flag you can then fight for the arenas, which are placed at hotspots like churches or similar. Pokémon can appear anywhere, though.
Pocket monsters visible on the Pokémon Go Map are randomly loaded into the game’s virtual map by the game server. If several players are playing in the same location, each player can see and catch the Pokémon independently of the others.
