Many fans of Pokémon Go will know this question: Which Pokémon are best to swap with a friend if we’re lucky buddies? Which of the pocket monsters from generation 1 to 4 are best suited if you are a PvE fan, and which you should prefer for PvP, we reveal to you!
If you are not a hardcore Pokémon Go trainer, the question of which Pokemon you should choose to swap with a lucky friend might be too much for some of you. Two trainers become Lucky Friends when they are naturally friends in Pokémon Go and have reached the “Best Friends” status. By chance, you can then become lucky friends when exchanging gifts, which can be recognized by the golden yellow balls that are then displayed next to the name of the respective trainer.
If you are then in close proximity to each other, then you can exchange Pokémon and this exchange ensures in any case that both exchanged pocket monsters become a lucky Pokémon. This, in turn, means that you will only need half of the necessary stardust to level up the mons. Furthermore, the attack, defense, and stamina values of Lucky Pokémon cannot drop below 12 (out of a maximum of 15). So you can expect that swapping with a Lucky Friend will ensure that you get a pretty neat Pokémon.
Now that we’ve gone over the basics again, let’s get back to the initial question: which Pokémon to choose to swap with a Lucky Friend? That depends, among other things, on whether you’re more of a fan of PvE battles (arenas, raids) or PvP battles (trainer battles) in Pokémon Go. Because of course there are differences. A PvPer is more likely to enjoy a Mon with a high defense value than a PvEer, who in most cases prefers good attack values. To give you a helpful overview, the authors of Pokémon Go Hub have compiled a list for both player types and explained why each Pokémon is suitable for an exchange with a lucky friend. Lucky Friends! Recommended Pokémon to swap for PvE
Rameidon: Rameidon is the strongest Rock-type attacker in the game and also has the best Rock attacks. The Pokémon has been a strong counter in raid battles in the past and will likely remain so against Gen 5 bosses.
Giratina (Original Form): There are currently a lot of Psycho-type bosses in raid battles in Pokémon, and Giratina (Primal Form) is one of the best counters, even if its attack stats aren’t the best. In many situations, Giratina (Primal Form) is simply the best Spirit-type attacker.
Rayquaza: Rayray is currently the best Dragon-type attacker. However, in Generation 5, there are a few dragons that could outrank Rayquaza. It also depends on when they become available.
Metagross: If Metagross has the Legacy Attack Star Slash, then you can use it in the Luck Swap. This is because there are some Legendary Pokémon in Generation that have a weakness to Steel Pokémon.
Mewtu: Spookball Mewtu has suffered from some adjustments in the past, but is still a solid attacker. Psychic Strike Mewtu, on the other hand, is the best attacker in the game, outclassing even Rayquaza.
Lavados: If Lavados has Sky Sweep, then the Flame Bird is not only the best Fire attacker, but also the best Flight-type attacker.
Knakrack: The members of the Knakrack family are actually the hardest to find in Pokémon Go because they are very rare. The chance of hatching a Knakrack from an egg is already extremely low – and finding one in the wild is even lower. Knakrack itself is a strong Dragon-type attacker, though not the best.
Kyogre: Even though Kingler is a strong Water-type attacker with Krabbhammer, Kyogre remains king because the legendary mon can simply take more and puts out more damage in the long run.
Groudon: Ground attacks are not currently a hit in either arenas or raids, but Groudon is still a solid attacker. And maybe in the future the mon will learn Abyss Blade, an attack that hopefully won’t be as disappointing as Earthquake currently is.
Skelabra: Yikes, a Gen 5 mon! If you don’t want to trade away Giratina (archetype), then Skelabra is a good alternative because it’s a valuable Spirit attacker.
Alternatives you can also consider for a luck trade are Gengar, Brutalanda, Despotar, Raikou, Dialga, Palkia, and Stalabor.

In the Master League, there is no CP limit for your Pokémon, so accordingly the most effective pocket monsters are those that scrape the 100% IV – that is, offer 15/15/15 in attack, defense, and stamina. The following Mon are interesting for you for a luck exchange:

Pokémon Go is the mobile spin-off of Nintendo’s popular Pokémon game series for Android and iOS. It is a so-called “location-based game”, i.e. a game that uses the player’s immediate surroundings. It is based on the principle of augmented reality.
Pokémon Map: Between landmarks and sights
Pokémon Go uses a Global Positioning System (GPS) to determine the player’s location and displays it on a map that also represents the playing field. The map is based on OpenStreetMap maps. The game is played mostly outdoors and uses landmarks, landmarks and other notable or eye-catching objects in the world to position either PokéStops or arenas there for you to battle for supremacy.
