#Starcraft Heroes – Aldaris.
Aldaris is a staunch believer in the #Protoss vision of the New Beginning. For him, the virtues of communal striving and selfless honor rank above all else. He has little more than contempt for people who display their emotions and disrespect their superiors.
Planets #Starcraft – Mar Sara.
Mar Sara was the eighth colony world settled by the former #Terran Confederation. Although the planet is rather desolate and remote, its mining industry was once considered a key strategic resource. He was overrun by the #Zerg and later cremated by the #Protoss. Intrepid #Terrans terraformed the planet and recolonized it in 2502.
#Starcraft Units – Marine.
Marines are the first line of defense for most terran worlds in the Koprulu Sector. In the days of the old Confederacy, the vast majority of Marines were criminals or rebels who underwent mandatory neural rehabilitation. These fearless soldiers, freed from any obligation or ideology, were willing to defend the interests of the Confederacy with their lives.
#Starcraft Missions – Evolution of Roaches.
Nine of the thirteen #Terran colonial worlds now lie in ruins. The #Protoss expeditionary force has largely retreated, and Emperor Mengsk is attempting to resurrect a new empire in the ruins of the #Terran Confederacy.
#Starcraft Buildings – Stargate.
The Stargate is a unit producing structure for the #Protoss, responsible for producing most of the #Protoss air units. It requires a Cybernetics Core before it can be warped in. The Stargate produces the Phoenix, Oracle and the Void Ray, and after the Fleet Beacon is completed, the Stargate can also warp in the Carrier and the Tempest.

In the same year, the only official expansion, #StarCraft: #BroodWar, was released, which continues the story of the basic game and includes new game contents.
