ARCHON DESCRIPTION
Each Protoss possesses a level of psi abilities rarely found in, say, Terrans. The Protoss of the Templar caste devote their lives to the art of war and, consequently, to perfecting their powerful abilities. Only the most experienced individuals, devoted to the teachings of the Khala, can hope for elevation to the prestigious ranks of High Templar. The immense power of the High Templar is rightly feared by adversaries of the Protoss. It only takes a handful of these mighty fighters to crush an entire army of enemies.
The dark templar come from very different backgrounds, but the powers at their disposal are no less impressive. While the High Templar unleashes storms, the Dark Templar, shrouded in darkness, harnesses the Shadow. However, these two templar traditions share one ability – they are able to unite their souls to create a deadly Archon.
Pulsating with swirling energy, this embodiment of a Protoss spirit is surrounded by an aura of immeasurable power. Unleashing devastating Psionic Storms, they damage both ground and air units. Due to the unification of the two Protoss races, an Archon can now be created by merging two High or two Dark Templars, and even by merging a Dark Templar and a High Templar. While the Protoss are reluctant to casually sacrifice these valuable units, those who achieve this level of devotion will forever be immortalized in the memory of their people.

PROTOSS
General Information
With their advanced technologies, the Protoss manage to spread fear and terror throughout the Starcraft universe. A variety of different combat robots, as well as some specially trained fighters who possess psi powers, are available to the Protoss in their battles against other forces. However, these also have their price, the training of fighters and upgrading with robots, not only devours vast amounts of resources, but also costs a lot of time.
The Protoss are considered the oldest and most developed race, but their old culture also has disadvantages. The Protoss naturally see themselves as autocrats and do not adapt to the new dangers, they remain in their rigid caste system and preserve the strict hierarchy in their culture at all costs.
